Lovely Park
Sep. 2019
Relaxing place to go for a morning walk and enjoy the scenery.
When we visited there were hundreds little toads hopping around. Lots of ducks on the pond, also saw a rabbit hopping around. Lovely park.

I loved my visit here. It’s a popular walking spot for locals and visitors alike. I spent a couple of hours here walking around the tracks and enjoying the scenery. Certainly worth a visit.

Nice End-of-Day Walk
Sep. 2019
Cobb's Pond is actually a rather large lake but "pond" is the traditional Newfoundland term for such bodies of water. This pond and park are easy to find, are used by the local people regularly and so is family friendly and safe, and there is a level trail that circles the pond giving a traveler a good walk after a day of driving.

Relaxing boardwalk & day park in Gander, NL
Aug. 2019 • Couples
Pretty, clean day park with picnic and washroom facilities as well as a lovely boardwalk around the pond. An easy walk taking about 30 mins.

Nice 2,5 km mostly boardwalk loop trail (& more) - very accessible to everyone. Picnic, rest and play areas everywhere. A must if in Gander.

My first visit here was just after 9/11/01. It's a great place to exercise, meditate or join a community event.

Beautiful day with nature’s beauty at its best .. boardwalk around beautiful Cobbs pond with benches along the route for rest stops. Ducks , birds , trees and rocks to observe on walk. Around 45 min to 1 hr walk .. playground area and restrooms on site .. grassy areas and picnic tables to relax.

This is a nice walking trail around a small lake, or pond. It's a great way to get a little exercise and enjoy nature.

Beautiful Park
Apr. 2019 • Couples
The Town of Gander and the local Rotary Club combined a few years back to finish the park. The job done is nothing short of amazing. The walking paths throughout the park are well done, along with the facilities. One can sit and watch the ducks and ducklings swim in the pond, walk the walking train through the forest. At night there is ample lighting from the light standards throughout the park itself (none of the trail arouind the pond). One visit usually is not enough.
