Sandy Beach is a beautiful each on Lake Superior. When we went I. The fall it was too cool to swim however we did take a stroll on the beach looking at the magnificent Lake Superior Shoreline

Beautiful spot to check out! Nice sandy beach, gorgeous water and a beautiful view! The water was chilly, but nice to walk along and to check out.

This beach is very secluded and lovely. Travel on a dirt road to get there - good signage. very clean outhouse at parking lot. You pass by silver falls on the way which is beautiful too.

Sandy Beach is a pretty, quiet beach. At least today it was! The water was calm and warm enough to get in. The scenery is spectacular. We'd definitely go back again!

This beautiful sandy beach is a 5 minute drive from town but well worth the visit. Hope that others have more time to explore and sit and enjoy.

Sandy Beach is a beautiful summer swimming hole to enjoy with friends and family. The scenery is breathtaking; another one of Northern Ontario’s amazing spot that’s a must to see.

Our hotel clerk sent us here for our sunset pictures. It was a great place. Wasn't for sure if we could access the full beach as there were private resident's near. Was a great place for our pictures!

We were there late in the day, just before sunset. As were in December, it was quiet. It was very scenic, clean and a real feeling of wild. Worth the stop.

Hard to believe that with such a rugged and rocky shoreline that's typically associated with Lake Superior, that you can find such a large sandy beach with high quality sand! You can walk for over a mile from the rocky face at the north end...More

It is quite a drive on a gravel road with poor signage. We couldn't get down to the beach, the walk down the hillside was very steep and flooded at the bottom. You'd have to wade through the water to get to the beach. Sunset...More
