I have been fishing for over 40 years, and have the knowledge and experience to make your fishing trip dreams come true. I will personally try my hardest to put you into fish at the prime times in conjunction with the tides and currents. I have guided for 30 plus years around the local waters and if the fish are there, we will get our fair share of them. I promise you that.

We had such a good time fishing with Cal. We brought one salmon home and had a great story about being sealed ! Cal has so much knowledge to share about the tides, lures, ocean life... His prices are fair and cheaper than other guides . He truly wants you to go home with great memories and fish too.

Cal/ owner operator is nothing but the best, took us out in the fog. New the area even though limited visability, very safe, knowledgeable, long time charter service, reliable and guarantees you a fish.

Cal is a top notch fishing guide and know the waters well . Great personality and willing to teach you the differnt ways of fishing . I found the days we were out on his boat will be days I will never forget . Thanks for a great time of fishing Cal see you next year ..... Barry / Gordy / Declan.

I have fished up and down the west coast from Victoria to Prince Rupert and have yet to experience a guide with the knowledge and passion of Cal. From the first time I went out on a charter with Cal I told myself that this guy is someone I want to fish with. He knows the waters, the tides, where to fish, and, most importantly, how to catch fish! Since that first trip I have been a repeat customer of Cal's for over 10 charters. If there are fish there Cal will get them!!!

Excellent fisherman. Knowledge of where the fish were, depth, tides and lure. A true fisherman and honest individual. Looking forward to next opportunity to fish with Cal.

Kal the guide was the best, knew what he was doing and everyone that went on the trip learnt something new. Next time we are in Victoria, we are booking with him for sure! He filleted our fish and offered to vacuum seal for the plane ride as well. With 4 people on the trip and Kal, there was lots of room and the bathroom on the boat was a bonus.

I travelled to Vancouver Island from Ontario to visit and try some fishing.
I found Cal and it was fantastic. He charges a very fair rate. It was not the best conditions and fishing was slow in the previous days. Cal knew exactly where to go and what to use. Result was a nice Chinook, a Halibut and some crab. He cleaned them all and they were ready to put on the BBQ! He was a great guy and even gave us a ride home! I would highly recommend Cal. Price and service were beyond expectation.

Cal was a great guide! Knowledgeable and thorough, checking the gear constantly. He seemed to know the depth to fish at and we connected where others in the fleet didn't. Prefer to fish with Cal every time. His boat was very comfortable and his equipment top notch. Others in our derby argue about who he is guiding for our trip. We always book an extra day with Cal.
