This is a really cute museum portraying the olden pioneer and settler days of the Manitoba prairies. They have some interesting buildings and items that you can spend hours looking at and it makes you appreciate the modern conveniences we have today. If I made a suggestion it would be to add a cafe on the busy roadway to entice... More

All of the special events put on at the Museum are first rate. We took part in a Murder Mystery evening and it was incredible. Local actors participated as well as staff from the Museum.

What a fantastic museum filled with so much local history. On one evening a Wednesday night I believe we went to a wonderful night of planet and star gazing. It was so educational and entertaining. Thanks so much to Tracey Turner the curator. She's a great addition to the Fort LeReine Museum.

for only $10 you are able to see 25 separate attractions of days gone by. Trading Posts, Homes of various eras. A Huge Allis Chalmers machinery museum. Churches, stores, schools and teepees. A real Caboose and Passenger car. The list goes on. Do yourself a favor and make time to see this delightful outdoor attraction.

I should qualify my review by mentioning I like history and enjoy visiting museums dedicated to local history. Fort La Reine is an eclectic mix of period homes, machinery, businesses, places of worship, a fur trading post, a school, Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame and some railroad equipment. We especially enjoyed the Ukrainian Church, the Allis Chalmers machinery collection and... More

Appreciate those who carved out a life on the prairies. Displays reflect life of long ago, many special events happen on this site; like filming; Ghost Walks, Blacksmith talks;and A Dickens Christmas. Bring the family, pack a picnic, enjoy the ambiance of calm in the well groomed grounds.

No shortage of fascinating things to be discovered here. A great window to the region's past and it's significant role in Canada's history.

Well...if you want to experience a Fort as we wanted to do, you will be quite disappointed. All you´ll find is that idea of a Fort. If youwant to see a conservated Pioneers Village you´ll be right here. Lots of different buildings, most of them original - even a real ukrainian chapel. A lot of stuff in the houses, maybe a... Better than expected, houses with creepy mannequins were spooky for the kids. Lots of local history.
