Close to Quebec and free! Fall easily accessible with a suspension bridge. You can also get as close as possible to the falls but by taking steps (lots of walking), not recommended for people with reduced mobility. Bridge allowing a beautiful view of the fall. It deserves a stop because it is just as pretty and even more bucolic than Montmorency.

Impressive fall. Activity to do even in sullen weather. Easy access, well marked path. Ideal for families even with two young children, the suspension bridge. Perhaps impressive easy parking and free toilet on site.

We spent an afternoon at the falls and park. A short walk from the Days Inn by Wyndham Levi’s hotel, we found a fantastic falls, a few easy to follow tracks and paths and a wobbly suspension bridge over the river. We could get right down to the river side for excellent views of the falls and surrounding gorge. Plenty of seats and picnic tables as well so a good spot to stop for a snack.

The views exceeded my expectations, with a beautiful and easy to walk park. The falls can be admired best from the suspended bridge. The whole visit can easily take one hour and I found it well-worth it.

Very nice park. The falls, 35 m heigh, are impressive whatever the season. The geology (Sillery formation: alternating bands of reddish or black clay shale and greenish sandstone) and the special geomorphology of the bedrock contribute to the beauty of the site, with its beautiful footbridge built downstream of the falls on the model the Pierre Laporte bridge (height of 23 m and length of 113 m). The hiking trails established on either side of the river (4.5 km) lead to a series of lookouts offering a different view of the falls and the river. Several interpretation panels have been installed along the route presenting the history of the occupation of the site, including the establishment of a hydroelectric power station, as well as the geology of the site and fauna (birds, fish, etc. ) who lives there. Several services are available on each side of the river: free parking, toilets, picnic tables, restaurant, exhibition hall, etc. Good meeting point for a group as the site is located at the confluence of several roads and highways (132, 20, 73, ...) and several free parking places available.

Waterfalls are very good and pretty big. There are 5 separate streams of falls which make the whole set wide. There is quite bit of walk from the steps of the main trail side to the base of the falls and have to walk over rocks - so need sturdy shoes.
The falls are beautiful and worth checking out. They look great from the bridge, but even better up close.

Worth going to base of the falls, overall the park is nice and is a nice spot to go for trails or picnic. Parking is tight and less space.

While passing through, we wanted to take a closer look at the Chaudière Falls mentioned in the travel guides. Beautiful walk, be a good walker because you walk on the rocks with some instability, nice surprise because they are magnificent and wide. Plus free parking and walking.

This fall is simply one of the best falls I have seen. In high water level, it's similar to Niagara Falls. In low water level, you'll see multiple falls with different magnitudes. Definitely worth driving the extra miles to see this experience.

This is a free park with free admission. Everyone stops at the first viewing spot. Walk along the grassy area toward the top of the falls to the next viewing spot. Better views. We were also the only people at the second viewing spot.

This is a beautiful park with some amazing views. Free access and parking onsite.

If you are mobile enough to walk up a number of stairs, you can access some lovely hiking trails and a suspended bridge with a great view of the falls.

There are also stairs leading down to the water, where you can walk closer to the falls, but the terrain is tricky and slippery at spots. My 8-year-old was able to navigate it easily.

A beautiful location to take in some fresh air and beauty.
