Unfortunately we only had an hour to see the museum, and you really need 3 hours to see the 3 floors of the museum. The girl at the desk recommended the 3rd floor as it was the newest exhibit, following Canada’s history. Interesting, informative multi-media...More

A complete and thorough exhibition of Canadian history from many different perspectives. All the exhibits were extremely well done. The architecture of the building is phenomenal.

I was there on Thursday when there is no entry fee after 5pm. I absolutely loved it. There was a hockey exhibition on at that time. Many kids around as well, so I would say it's a good place for families to go, as well.

This is one of Canada's prime showpieces. You can spend a whole day here and not get through all the exhibits. My favorite was the Grand hall jammed with native totem poles, artifacts and lore, but all of Canada's founding people are represented here. There...More

I am totally in love with this museum! We went twice during our 3-week stay in Canada, and I would have come again, but my 8 year old would've gone berserk. I see the museum as a passage to 6 different worlds: 2 kids worlds...More

This museum has a lot to offer inside and out. We really enjoyed the exhibits and our two grandchildren loved the Children's Museum. We also enjoyed walking by the river just outside of the museum and seeing the wildlife. One thing that was disappointing was...More

We walked across from Ottawa and purchased a three museum package visit to be used in three days. There is so much to see that it boggles the mind and keeps you constantly on the go to try and finish before the doors close. Everything...More
