Incredible service, wonderful people, easy to find location. The whole experience was simple, and relaxed. We had to reschedule our first appointment due to weather, but the whole team was open and up front about it, rescheduling was hassle free and when we did get the jump, the instructors were amazing, informative and as excited as we were. Just an all around great experience. Would highly highly recommend this organization to anyone thinking of trying skydiving.

Serious safety incident
My dearest friend lost his life on May 29, 2021 (pictured on the right). It is difficult to describe the events that transpired that day and the days that followed. The owners and operators of this company have shown themselves to be selfish and callous, with their only concern in the event of this accident occurring is how to cover themselves and protect their business. If only they had extended that same caution and concern to their employees and customers, my friend would still be alive and I would not be writing this today. I sympathize wholeheartedly with the instructors who jump everyday and must contend with the uncertainty of whether their parachute is rigged correctly or that the equipment has been maintained up to professional standards. To this day, GO Skydive has not called the family of the deceased, nor myself or anyone else who jumped in our group to apologize or to at least see how we are doing. They did however export and send the GoPro footage of that day to the other members of our party, demonstrating an inconceivable level of apathy. Imagine; this company thinks that it is appropriate to send videos and pictures to your group even in the instance of a fatal jump that occurred. They sent us the footage merely a couple of days after my friend died, a tragedy that occurred solely due to their mistakes, their failure to ensure the safety of the jumpers and instructors. This clearly reflects their complete lack of respect, remorse or sympathy with their customers and employees. Yousef had zero control of the outcome and was left at the complete mercy of their operations at GO Skydive. There is more that transpired on that day that has convinced of their complete lack of oversight and adherence to regulation. As we were on our way to board the plane, we witnessed a skydiver who was landing outside the dropzone near the hangar and the other planes on the tarmac. I am not aware of the outcome of that landing, but there should have been a safety measure in place to ensure that the skydiver landed safely before the next batch of skydivers boarded the plane. Yousef and I were the last to jump from the plane in our group. When I landed, I was told that Yousef landed outside the dropzone and that they were going to retrieve them via a vehicle since it was far outside the dropzone. I thought nothing of it since I was waiting for them to get Yousef. The next group of skydivers after ours had already boarded the plane (I believe they got on the second plane) and I watched them parachute down to the dropzone even though a fatal death had just occurred in the previous group. I cannot believe that there aren’t preventive measures in place to ensure that all skydivers landed safely before the next group jump is conducted. I went back to reread the waiver I signed. The following excerpt is found in the waiver: “I freely and voluntarily choose to assume all risks inherent in parachute jumping, including risks of equipment malfunction or failure to function which may result from some defect in design/manufacture, improper or negligent or use of the equipment”. How can a company continue to legally operate under the condition that they are not liable for negligent use or maintenance of their equipment? That is like going scuba diving and the company neglects to fill the tanks with oxygen. Unforeseeable events can be expected from any type of activity, but the onus is on the company to ensure that their equipment and training is up to standard – in essence to manage and take responsibility for what is in their control. I severely implore anyone reading this review to reconsider jumping with GO Skydive. Imagine your loved one plummeting to their death without a parachute deploying due to an apparent double “malfunction”. That is the reality we are facing dealing with an irresponsible company that has your life in their hands. This has been the single worst decision of my life. I can’t take it back but if you are reading this, please learn from this experience.
