Small, very attractive displays. There is a photo exhibit on the 2nd floor which should not be missed. It really gives a visitor a feel for the community of Fernie.

$5 entrance fee was very reasonable. A very well put together museum for the space it occupies. Fairly quiet as I had the place to myself. Looked as though you could do a self guided tour on the original settlers

Particularly enjoyed the interactive videologues of stories provided by locals. Fernie is an area rich in history with the development of the coal mines and subsequent immigration.

While in Fernie recently we stopped by the museum for a visit. Although it is small, there are many interesting displays to keep your interest. It was a fun learning experience for my family and we would recommend it to you.
