Our family had a great day rafting the Elk river with Blair and the rest of his team. They did an amazing job mixing in interesting stories, humour and of course a ton of excitement. Our only regret was that we hadn't booked a day with them sooner! We will definitely be back!

Oh man!!! This was seriously one of the best days of our lives! Top notch from start to finish. Arrived in Fernie in the middle of a heat wave, and decided we needed to do something river bound to stay cool and see the area for the first time. The River Wild trip down Lower Elk River with Canyon did not disappoint! Lynn booked us in straight away the night before, Blair and his crew of amazing guides took care of the rest. Epic views, cool overviews of the area’s history (colonial version) and geography, awesome safety briefing and paddling pre training, amazing raft adventure, great cliff jumping, delicious lunch, river swim/float, all for a very decent price! My teenage son and I were thrilled! Love the energy of this outfit and their owner/founder mentality. Great juju all around.

Amazing experience with an awesome group of guides who went above and beyond to make our trip memorable! Safety was a major factor for them making sure everyone’s trip down the river was exciting and safe! Our guide was Brad and he was very respectful, funny and super strong in the raft. Blair the owner made sure that all the safety precautions were covered and what an awesome guy!!! I’m sure the rest of the guides were awesome but didn’t get a chance to get to know them. Not 1 time did anyone on the trip seem afraid or scared just lots of laughs and fun!!!

This is a top notch run business - very professional & a lot of fun. They are very focused on safety so everyone has a safe, fun time and Blair is a character. Nick was our guide & was knowledgeable and had a great personality. I highly recommend this rafting day with Canyon Raft Co.

Always an epic day with Blair and his crew. The professionalism the knowledge of the area and the views are unmatched. Always a five star ⭐️ day with canyon rafting. Don’t miss this experience. It has become an annual experience of our summer holidays.

What an amazing trip. Beautiful rafting. Gorgeous scenery. Knowledgeable staff. Level 2-4 skill level. Time to relax and time to paddle forward. Highly recommend This adventure is not for people with knee or shoulder problems. You need to be relatively in shape. For the hike down and paddling.

The expérience was amazing. Blair was our guide and he is so nice. He shows us fishes, birds…
He likes kids (9-11-15yo).
16km of rafting was perfect! Rapids are so funny. We were with our friends so a total of 9. Perfect for the photos, you know everyone in the photo (you pay 55$ at the end).

This is the second year we have chosen Canyon Rafting Company’s River Wild for our annual work summer fun Saturday.
We have had a blast both years! The guides are all so knowledgeable and make all feel comfortable no matter their river experience! The views are unreal, the river is beautiful, a very unique experience. Make sure to drink lots of water and be sun safe with sunscreen and hats, and all will have a good time.
We are hoping to book the Bull River run for 2025!

Blair and his crew are the ultimate professionals. Well organised, knowledgeable and safety conscious. What Blair doesn’t know about these rivers in all conditions isn’t known yet. Don’t miss the chance to take a trip with this local.

We drove out to Fernie from Regina on our vacation just for this experience, and it was well worth it. We had beautiful views, a knowledgeable crew, and a good lunch. Blair, our guide, has been doing this for 40 years, and he had so many great stories to tell along the way. We got to pull over and go cliff-jumping at one point, which was a nice added bonus.
We can't wait to go back again someday. We just might plan on it for next summer!

My wife and I have our 7 grandchildren with us and we're in Fernie for the next 4 days and we're thinking of booking a white water trip. We have a 7 yr old an 8 yr old and two 9 yr olds. At this time of year do you feel that the river would be safe for them? We also have a couple of girly girls in the lot that are not real athletic but I think they will be willing to try.

I'm not sure if the Canyon raft company have an age limit but I can assure you that the staff are exemplary when it comes to proper safety procedures. We approached the raft trip with some trepidation but our concerns proved to be unfounded. We had a wonderful time. It is one of the best attractions in Fernie. Check with the staff about the age limits though.
