5 of us went down the elk river with Canyon. Blair, Lynn and the team were excellent, and a special shout out to Mia (our guide) who was amazing! This company is very professional, strong emphasis on safety and make it an outstanding day with lots of special watch outs and history along the way. Would highly recommend this company and by the way the lunch they serve is healthy, so good and the perfect break to set you up for the back part of the trip. PS. The hummus was excellent!!

Thank you guys for joining us on the Elk River! We are lucky to have a multi talented guide like Maya on the river and off making her homemade hummus! We look forward to having you guys out charging waves again soon!

We at sushi wood had a great day on the river, very knowledgable guides, that made us all feel safe as we had some people in the group first time rafters. We did the bull river had a lot of fun. Would highly recommend.

What an absolute amazing day with Canyon. Our guide was Max and he was great, couldn’t have asked for better company. We were four adults with three young kids and Max and Sinead made everyone feel right at home and were very knowledgeable the full trip. We did the “river mild” trip and would not only recommend Canyon but Max and Sinead if your lucky to get them. Can’t wait to be back with them on the elk river next summer.

Max and Sinead are always happy to join you on the river. If you can understand their accent, sharing laughs and stories are always a great experience! We cant wait to see you again this summer!

We are in our mid-60s and decided, in a moment of madness, to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary with a white water rafting trip. We loved it! Not for the faint-hearted but we had a fantastic experience with this very professional and well-organised company. We were very impressed by the friendly team, who did all they could to make sure everyone had fun whilst keeping us safe throughout. The excellent lunch, served in the middle of nowhere, was an added delight!

We had such a great time rafting with our guide Brad. He was very experienced and knowledgeable. We felt safe and comfortable and had so much fun out on the water. This tour exceeded our expectations and now we plan to make an annual trip! Thank you!

Awesome experience. Scenery is stunning, rafting itself was far more fun than my last experience 20 years ago. Blair and Lynne are well known in town as Fernie legends, I was remarkably impressed by Blair as a guide. We toook our 10 and 12 yo - they had a blast. Probably could have been a few years younger (we rafted at the end of the summer.). If your kids are younger, ie approx 7 and blows, the “river mild” float from the dicken road launch is totally appropriate for young kids (we did it when our kids were younger.). Definitely worth the trip!

So great we could make the river have positive memories. We love taking kids on the river, and having the mild is a great intro to young kids and families before jumping to the wild! We look forward to seeing you again soon!

What an awesome way to spend the day! The guides are knowledgeable and a lot of fun. They make you feel at ease and confident.
Everyone including our kids 14 and 11 had a great time. The scenery on the Elk River is amazing! Definitely book!

I would totally recommend canyon raft they are very experienced ,and easy going full of laughter and fun crew they explain everything what to do in the raft so no matter what if you have never done it rest assured you are in good care

I would suggest that go for Canyon Raft Company for river rafting in fernie, British Columbia or Canada. You will get best experience and add it to your life memories albums. 100% satisfied service with unlimited fun.

My wife and I have our 7 grandchildren with us and we're in Fernie for the next 4 days and we're thinking of booking a white water trip. We have a 7 yr old an 8 yr old and two 9 yr olds. At this time of year do you feel that the river would be safe for them? We also have a couple of girly girls in the lot that are not real athletic but I think they will be willing to try.

I'm not sure if the Canyon raft company have an age limit but I can assure you that the staff are exemplary when it comes to proper safety procedures. We approached the raft trip with some trepidation but our concerns proved to be unfounded. We had a wonderful time. It is one of the best attractions in Fernie. Check with the staff about the age limits though.
