This was just the perfect little hike. Just enough ups and downs to make it feel like you put a little effort into your walk. And the falls are beautiful. Highly recommend this little hike.

My husband and I took a short bike holiday to Fernie BC. We spent one day at the FAR bike park and we're going to do more trails at the Provincial Park. We only ended up doing Lazy Lizard which was a beautiful and fun ride, a must do if you're visiting the area. It does get quite busy as the day goes on so go early if possible. We are definitely going back and just focusing on the Provincial Park trails, and there are more trails in Mt. Proctor and Montaine area (Ridgemont was closed for logging). It would take weeks to ride all those trails!

Mount Fernie has some great mountain biking. Lazy Lizard is a great blue trail - grab lunch at the Chalet once you get to the top - it’s a long fun downhill out afterwords so go ahead and enjoy yourself. Project 9 is a great technical trail, not designed for novice riders. Bike up The Chimney and ride mushroom cap and take black Betty into town for pizza at “The Loaf”
