Really nice hike and beautiful falls!
We met a couple along the trail who let us know the best view of the falls is to take the bottom view trail, and it did not disappoint!

Easily accessible with adequate parking. New trail markers are a colourful bear paw print. The trail is ok but with many areas so eroded that you are walking on tree roots. Nice little walk with some uphill bits and some very muddy bits. Rustic benches are provided around halfway and at the top and bottom of the falls.

So the trail in and back was fine, just watch for the signs that show Falls, blue with one line, heads to the right. We went past it and ended up at the top of the falls, we crossed over the water and then walked along the fencing and looked for a trail down to the bottom of the falls. No real path.

Great hike to do on a warm day. Take some bug spray if you're going during the summer months. Great place to go for a picnic

We took a hike to Hays Waterfall with our mushroom loving son and found lots of mushrooms: chanterelles, black chanterelles and lobsters. The waterfall is beautiful and the hike is quite easy.

This is a nice hike about 1.5 km each way, we’ll marked, lots of uneven ground. It ends at a water fall which with our dry summer was just a trickle but beautiful forest.

A nice little waterfall with well marked trails leading to both the top and bottom of the falls.

The trail is pretty clear with a couple picnic tables and bridges along the route.

If your looking for some exercise for about an hour this is a nice walk with a pretty waterfall for your reward. I suggest you take the lower trail for a better vantage point as the top is blocked off for your safety. A wide and well marked trail which takes 20 minutes each way.

If ever you are in the Woodstock area. I highly recommend you seek out the Maliseet Trail. Little hard to find if you don't know what you are looking for. I always like to find the entrance on google maps first. Once found it is easy to access off the main rd. Short hike in and the scenery is absolutely amazing. We went after a lot of rain and the waterfall was absolutely gorgeous! You will want to linger upon your arrival.

Enjoy!
