This is a town where you can eat and shop at small shops geared for tourists. I find that other villages in the Laurentians that have kept their old buildings, and make visiting fun. Val David is one of them.

We came for a day trip through the mountains and stopped by here to walk around. There wasn’t much to do. A few cute shops but generally boring. We had lunch and left to the next town.

A must view for anyone outside the beautiful Laurentian area. Our friends from Newfoundland and Labrador enjoyed it as much as we did.

It's a great location, with a beautiful facility. Don't think twice about going… there are lots of restaurants to eat in and stores for shopping and from what it looks like, the skiing is pretty great. Parking was free!

There are some hikes near St-Sauveur but the better hikes are mostly 30-45 minutes away in other villages in the Laurentians like Morin Heights or little bit further like Mont Tremblant (best hikes are in the Mont Tremblant... More
