This was a very interesting museum with lots of history relating to explorer A. Mackenzie. The young woman at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. There is also an archivist/curator on site.

The witness blanket which has travelled throughout Canada was on display, and the museum was open for free during this time. This "blanket " which was made up of wooden panel like sections, containing artifacts of residential schools.
