What a great way to experience Mont Tremblant's closenest to nature. You can choose from 2 itineraries or do both; I recommenmd you pick the 12 km one, you should have done enough exercise fater this.

This is a beautiful kayak (or canoe) excursion. You simply go down the river with the current. Of course, you need to paddle and it's mainly to steer. You just in the kayak and enjoy the descent. It is extremely safe and you do this at your own pace. At the start, the guide will give you a few tips on how to read the currents, which was very useful.

Note that from late August on, the water level is usually low and at a few occasions during the descent, we got ... "stuck". Nothing to worry, your can usually use your hands (in the water) to push yourself on simply get out of the kayak, walk a little bit to deeper section and off you go.

Water shoes are strongly recommended.

Easy place to kayak when you don't have a car and the staff is very friendly. There is a shuttle service offered by them for a pick up with your kayak for the return.

We had lots of fun paddling along the Diable today! We arrived around 12 to the À l’Abordage trailer, and were driven soon after 12 kilometres out to start our trek. We had the luck of meeting a very sweet half-coyote half-husky dog who surprised us in the back of the bus! The employees were extremely helpful and were sure to give us specific instructions on how to get back. The only reason I am giving four stars is because we unfortunately got lost about 10.5 kilometres out, due to the fact that one of the employees had told us to stay to the left for every turn. We ended up going about 2 kilometres down a tiny side stream because it was to our left. So to those doing the 12 kilometres: at around 10.5 kilometres (maybe 11), keep straight until there are two very obvious large parts, and not just one straight path ahead and a small left-turning stream.
Apart from that, now that we know where to go, we will definitely be going again!

Had a wonderful time kayaking down the river La diable in Mont-Tremblant with my sister. Very relaxing, saw beautiful ducks on the shore. A must do activity to truly appreciate the experience of Mont-Tremblant outdoors.

We've take about 6 trips with this company over the last 2 years and they're absolutely great - especially if you want to start/end up in downtown St, Jovite. Competent & engaging staff. "Safety first" approach is definitively in play, & a very efficient process/operation makes it an easy non-stressful experience. Congratulations on setting up something that really works well. BTW, you do not need to be able to be an athlete to participate in this wonderful experience! Get out there, an just do it!

My wife and I spent the afternoon on this fun adventure. We arrived at the A L'Abordage parking area, with the small office trailer, were fitted with life jackets. We were soon transported about 15 minutes away by bus to the launch site. The crew carried the kayaks to the river and we were on our way! The river meanders for 12km, with some small rapids. The water was fairly low on our trip, so the rapids were no problem, but we did have to be careful not to get stuck in a few shallow areas. The trip takes 2-3 hours, depending on how much you want to paddle.

kayaking along a very shallow stream is just plain fun and just a must do during the humid days of summer in the east coast. on top of that, this attraction also had great services and friendly staff. essentially this is a Canut and kayak along the Riviere du Nord and then you bike back to the rental place to get your car. after my kayak trip, I took a ride back to the office with Joey and that was fun knowing him and understanding the staff behind the scene. just makes the day more enjoyable. I suggest anyone going to visit the laurentian is drop by this place and try it....

Perfect length (12 km downriver), and good value! There were a couple of very small rapids which were really fun! We enjoyed having the lack of supervision; a shuttle takes you and the kayaks to the drop point, and you kayak back to the shop. I'd recommend an open kayak (as avid kayakers, we are used to the bigger boats; their closed kayaks are quite small, and hard to fit in if you're tall like us). Bring a picnic as there are a lot of nice places to stop along the shoreline.
