Appreciation for Ski & Bike Lab - Tremblant
Wanted to share another amazing experience that I always have with the crew at Ski & Bike Lab in the old village of Mount Tremblant. For the last several year during the winter at Mount Tremblant, I always rent an ebike from the team at SkiLabTremblant. The groomed trails in the Tremblant area are wonderful. At SkiLabsTremblant I usually deal with Phil, but the entire team are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and understand what people needs are. The service shop team can resolve all issues, not only with e-bikes but anything snow, bikes or repairs. Ski & Bike Labs shop has everything & anything whether you wanna wear it, ride it, buy it, rent it and the team are more than willing to help. Thank you as always Team SkiLabTremblant. 💲Dollar 🤑

Perfect spot for 4 days family getaway
We love Mt. Tremblant. It’s our annual short summer vacation. Every year we rent a condo for 4 nights during the week in the condo complex just outside of the village. The complex has an outdoor pool, sauna and hot tub. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon or evening after doing a bunch of activities. We love walking the trails, biking to the old village on the path, activities in the village (with the pass), and enjoying lunch in the restaurants. Overall a lot of things to do for the whole family. If you’re planning on going, there are a lot of AirBnBs around. We found 4 nights to be a sweat spot - enough time to do all the activities we enjoy without rushing and not enough time to get bored.

Wonderful! Lake apartment was a hit!
This is a wonderful destination. It is not only a great ski resort but the gorgeous Lac Tremblant makes it a unique all seasons paradise. We stayed at the new LAGO (Lago 28 - Le Saphir). The apartment was beyond AMAZING, all brand new with modern luxury finishes, furniture, appliances and decor. We even had our private terrace! The building is brand new and right on the lake so you have the best view imaginable of the lake and the mountain reflecting on the lake. We had a designated parking space inside and the drive to the ski resort is about 3-5min or a 30 min walk. The area has many golf courses and activities so we will be coming back whenever possible.

    Great maiden trip to Tremblant
We had a week with friends in the Tremblant area, loved it. It’s not cheap (hence only 4 stars) but it’s a great area to visit, with lots to do; we embraced being tourists & did most of the activities, rode the cable cars, enjoyed the scenery, Tonga Illumina (night walk), the Luge, hired a pontoon boat on the lake, cycled, walked and canoed. Superb! We had great hosts which helped, but would recommend Tremblant & can’t wait to go back. If you love running, cycling, walking, there are great off road paths in the woods, offering endless options. The lake & rivers, were perfect for swimming, sailing, canoeing & boating and would recommend. Tremblant is popular & as such gets busy at weekends, but definately worth a visit and only 90/120 mins from Montréal Airport. Bon Vacance!

    Well Done Ski Resort
We have visited ski resorts all over the world, and decided to try something closer to home this year. Overall, Tremblant is well done. The layout and village feel authentic despite the very well planned resort. We stayed in the heart of the resort at the Homewood Suites, and loved the location at the top of the resort hill. It was a very easy walk to the lifts in the morning. A few things to note from our holiday week…..it was very crowded, both on the slopes and in the village. We did expect some increase in visitors, but this was challenging due to the significant lack of table availability at every single restaurant. We should have made reservations for every night way before our visit. We will know better next time. There is also very little in the way of fast food or street food, which meant a lot of time off the slopes to get a meal. The general grocery store had the basics and the staff was very friendly, but don’t plan on cooking a feast if that is where all of your ingredients are coming from. I should have brought more from home. The resort is extremely well maintained and the common areas are welcoming with community fire pits and fun games and music in the square. Overall, we loved it and will return for another ski trip in the future.

    Splendid skiing
We found great conditions skiing at Mont Tremblant. Wide trails that were groomed well. It was freezing cold while visiting so we appreciated the gondola. Loved the carrier lift over the village. The enormous windows in the summit lodge provided fabulous views. Typical cafeteria style food in the lodge that is overpriced like most ski areas. Friendly and helpful staff. The Village was so quaint with many shops and restaurants. Highly recommend the hot chocolate shop with 15 flavors of chocolate and a roasted marshmallow! Looking forward to visiting again. Wish it was closer.

Upon our arrival, we quickly discovered that it was the dead season, indicating that most activities wouldn't commence until the end of November. Despite this, we decided to explore the area, taking leisurely strolls through charming stores and reaching the scenic viewpoint at the top. The experience was enjoyable, especially with the opportunity to capture beautiful moments through photographs. We made sure to pick up some delicious maple syrup, savoring the local flavor.

However, the downside of our visit was the exorbitant parking fees. In just 30 minutes, we were charged a hefty $25. It would have been more reasonable if there were varied pricing options based on different times of the day.

This place is a bit like Disneyland or Vegas . It feels quite fake although if you’re ok with that it can be quite nice. Everything is quite expensive, food probably isn’t the best as it’s all intended for mass consumption. The hikes you can do there are ok, but my guess is there are better ones elsewhere on the National park. Probably nicer in the winter with the skiing.

So much fun in the summer. Hire a MTB from
bike Lab. So much fun!
The luge is good but too busy and full of people that can’t drive or care about anyone else.

The Main Street area is fun with typical overpriced food and drinks. The brew pub is or pick.

So, I’m not one to leave reviews in general and especially not bad reviews, but I guess there’s a first time for everything. The skyline luge activity was a huge disappointment for me and my kids. They make it look like the wait is not so long at the bottom (30 minutes) but when you have already bought your $130 tickets and get to the top, you have to wait another hour before your first ride down. You’re stuck waiting in the full sun with no water … I didn’t expect tremblant to be the Quebec Disney world. We asked to go down on the chair lift and they refused. So we hiked it down on a steep path. Customer service was closed by the time we got down. The employees were doing their best but clearly the management is just trying to maximize the buck and minimize the client experience. Go do mission laser tag instead and don’t spend money on the overpriced bad experience. Sadly

We came for a family Thanksgiving trip (for season opening. However, the resort did not make any effort to accommodate skiers this year. Lines to get tickets were long because service was not efficient. Only two trails were open (1 green and 1 blue half way down with no ski path to get back to the village, creating a “trap” and unnecessary lift lines. We skied for 3 days and I haven’t seen any grooming work done of these trails, so by Saturday they were pure ice. No path to the bottom created a 40-50 minute bottleneck when the lift serving the blue trail broke on Saturday. In addition, they closed lifts earlier than listed: the lift serving the blue trail was supposed to close at 3.30 (which is already on an early side), but they stopped letting anyone down around 3.10, effectively closing it at 3.15 (it’s really a less than 5 minute run). We heard that this was all because the resort was prioritizing getting ready to a race a week from now. It is very upsetting that they didn’t want to make a tiny bit of extra effort to accommodate skiers who paid quite a lot of money to come here. Making a trail going all the way down to the village could have made the experience so much better. Given that that they were blessed with conditions (no rain at least a week before or after, with some extra snowfall) compared to some more southern resorts that aren’t as lucky, it felt like we were at the very bottom of the resort priorities and we are unlikely to come here again next year.

I love tremblant but find it is getting terribly busy, and many of the other skiers could learn a bit about respect and not ski so close to other people. The design of the new RFID gates for the gondola are terrible, they dump people into a moving line and you have to push to join the queue. And the prices of both the lift tickets and the food and other items to purchase are extremely overpriced, especially with the addition of that tremblant surcharge tax. The prices and the crowds definitely reduce the number of times I ski there.

I hope this message reaches you well. Today, ( January 3/2024) my son participated in a group snowboard lesson at your facility ( Mont Tremblant). He has previous snowboarding experience and is independently able to ride down the green hills. The main reason for the lesson is to have him practice his toe skill. At the beginning of the lesson I was told that he needs a lift ticket since they will be riding down the mountain. Full day lift ticket was purchased for the lesson. At the end of the lesson I find out that they stayed at the beginner hill entire day and only went up the gondola for a ride. I understand the circumstances may arise but it is crucial that customers receive the service they have paid for. Paying $269.00 lesson tickets and purchasing $87.00 lift ticket just for the bunny hill and one ride in a gondola is ridiculous. I really hope you can investigate this matter. Mont Tremblant is an amazing winter getaway and we always have a positive experience.

I've skied for over 40 years and skied, Western Canada, Utah, and California. Tremblant is the only resort I left not wishing to go back.

The overall customer service is dismal. No one says, 'hi', smiles or often even acknowledge that you entered their store or bar. Its also ridiculously expensive.

The DJ in the village? WTF I love Apres, but part of the fun is hitting the different patios with different live music or entertainers...they all have their own vibe. NOT hearing the same music so loud you can't talk.

3% 'Royalty tax' on every purchase? I get a resort tax but its typically on hotel accommodation only and that's fair but NOT on a pair of shoes or lunch. The resort charges this 3% fee, then Federal / Provincial Tax on top of that? You're taxing on tax? Then staff asking for tips at 18%...that means when you look at a price, add 36%. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I lived and worked in a ski town for over 12 years...customer service matters. I don't mind spending the money for good service etc. but when you leave feeling like you were a nuisance and it was very expensive, you have an issue.

Compared to all the resorts I've been too, Tremblant feels like it has a chip on its shoulder. I think Tremblant is getting a bit big for its britches - or simply put too expensive and no customer service.

I booked a stay in Tremblant months ahead of time. I had never been to the area, but it looked beautiful, so I thought it would be a good vacation spot!
I can honestly say I've never been to what I would consider a resort area that was less friendly. Most stores we went into, the workers were unattentive or rude. I found the general atmosphere to be very unfriendly to Americans. They seemed extremely put out that we were not French speaking . Very sad because I live in a very big tourist area in the US, and we would not have a travel industry if we treated visitors the way we were treated in Tremblant. I am thankful that we stayed in a condo outside of the village. That was the best part of our trip. I now do not question why there were so few souvenirs to be had, they don't sell them because they don't really seem to want or welcome anyone other than the French speaking population or locals.
They need some guidance on how to welcome visitors to the area. It is such a beautiful area but the people just ruined it for us.
We even had a man look at us and say "can you not read?" We were simply asking a question about the Porsche racing event. We we're having trouble getting information about it so we drove to the gate and thought we could ask the gentleman at the gate. That was a very wrong assumption he was so rude and unfriendly it was quite embarrassing the way he treated us. We were not trespassing we simply drove to the area to ask the question!! He certainly was no gentleman!
I would suggest to anyone wanting to visit this area that you make sure that you are ready to put on your thick skin and take your friends or family with you so that you will at least have others to talk to because the locals have no interest in telling you anything about their area!
Sadly disappointed in this vacation decision.

This is the most poorly run mountain I’ve ever skied at. Closed for some wind and zero refunds. You guys suck. Every worker told us different information about the lifts and then they finally just closed them all. Other mountains have far worse conditions and remain open. I’ve never been so disappointed or felt like I wasted my money than coming here.
