We have gone to the life for 10 years and it has been great to very time. Until this trip to the mont Tremblant skyline luge. We waited 2 hours for a 5 minute ride and they were only loading 2 people per chair and 2 out of 3 chairs were empty. If that was t bad enough the lessons took about 5 minutes for each group and when there is over a dozen groups it takes for ever. You also have the situation where you get priority on your second ride which is great for your second ride but for the first ride it doubles the time you wait. Usually this ride is great but with the COVID 19 pandemic they have handled this ride very poorly.

Great Fun ride. Make sure you take 3 rides minimum for maximum fun. Children under 6 ride unlimited for only 5 dollars. You take Chairlift to the top and come down on Luge. You get nice view from the top as well. Highly recommended.

Waited one hour in the hot sun for a five minute ride and at least twenty minutes for each subsequent ride. This despite their queuing app which tells you when to show up. When I suggested they refine their queuing app they got snippy with me. Then a few minutes later someone who complained about the wait was escorted to the front of the line past all the people patiently waiting! I wouldn’t do it again.

Our family of four (including 2 young children) spent an hour on the luge. While our youngest who is 3 had to ride with us, our 7-year-old easily managed the luge. The staff have everything very well organized and running great! We had a great time and would recommend going for a ride to any family.

My teenage kids really enjoyed this activity. It had a bit of a wait longer than most others at tremblant but was worth the wait. It’s a little tricky because after you get your tickets you have to make a reservation so make sure you do both get your tickets and make a reservation . We learned having a ticket doesn’t do any good if you don’t have a reservation at least during Covid times:/

We saw this activity when we were walking around the pedestrian village, and it looked like everyone was having fun. So we decided to try it, even though we are a little older (50ish). Boy are we glad that we did. The luge is easy to learn and the careening trip down the hill was exhilarating. At no time did I feel unsafe while on the track. The staff was friendly and efficient. We definitely would do it again!

The ride was so much fun! I was just planning on sending my kids on it but I put on my big girl panties and went too. I’m so glad I did! It was so much fun! I’m glad it included 2 rides down the hill. I highly recommend this for everyone (it’s not scary!).

The price for a family of four is reasonable. The carts are intuitive to drive. They handle well and one can go fairly fast. It wasn't very busy, so the wait was only a minute or two. Added bonus of riding the ski lift and getting a great view/ photos of the area. The family pass included photos and 3 rides down. Staff were polite and gave excellent instructions.

Luge is my family best activity at Mont Tremblent. Every year during Canada Day long weekend we spend several days at the resort and enjoy many Luge rides. This year we noticed that half our rides were on bad karts. Shaky rides due to damaged wheels, bad breaks and unbalanced steering are very common problems. When I informed the Luge employees at the base about the problems they admitted they know about these issues and what's worse they kept the defected karts in service. Once in while to absorb customers angers they may offer a replacement ride. My other ride wasn't better than the one before I got bad brakes! My son and my daughter had similar problems.
Hope the people in charge will act on that soon before many accidents happen. Just wondering if there is any safety checks on their practice.

That is great to hear we are considered your best family activity at Mont- Tremblant. In regards to our safety, we operate a strict system which ensures all our luge carts are safe for operation. I apologise to hear you were not satisfied with the luge cart you received. We do not consider the offer of a replacement ride, an attempt to absorb customers anger. We offer this as we realise on isolated occasions, the 'feel' of a particular cart may not satisfy the rider. The cart is still safe to ride in this instance.
I would like to thank you for riding the luge, and I thank you for your honest feedback. We hope to host your family again in the future!

Ok, so it was Thanksgiving weekend. Nevertheless, they should NOT sell as many tickets!!! First time around, it took close to 2 hours of line up to get to do it and second ride, about 45 minutes. When we went for 3rd ride (we had paid for 4 rides), it was clearly going to be 2 hours again, so we gave up. So, paid for 4 rides, got 2. Cause that's how many we got to do in over 4 hours. The activity itself is fun. But overpriced given the wait.

Is there a walkway / path to the start line of the Luge? My child has a fear of heights and won't ride the ski lift.

Is there a camera policy at this attraction? In other words, will I be allowed to wear a GoPro camera for the ride down?

Saw a number of people with go pros. They even have helmets (which you must wear) with go pro attachment devices on them.

What is the cost of the ride per person? What is the age limits?

Get the multiple ride package, 1 is not enough.
With the multiple ride package, can be around 10$ per ride. You can go tandem with young kids or a around 10 year old can go as long a they understand the instructions and can pull the levers.

Planning to come with my 22 year old daughter first of March 2017. How should the snow/ skiing usually at that time. If it is lacking do they generate the snow?
Best scenic French hotel to stay?
Activities beside the luge at that time of year.
Written August 24, 2016
Almost all of the hotels offer great views. The Fairmont is located right at the base of the hill so it would offer also great access to the hills. They do generate their own snow, but Tremblant typically has a good amount of snow anyway.

My family is going the last week of September. How is the weather?
Written July 22, 2016
It is not very different from Philadelphia at that time of year. The leaves maybe ahead in colour. Sometimes there are warm periods, sometimes colder, but no snow yet. Check with the weather network before you leave, to find out what the next few days will be like.
Caution, the restaurants in the ski village are way too high. Eat in the town of Tremblant. Groceries are really pricey too, so you might want to buy some food from stores, closer to Montreal.
Here are the prices I thought were too high to believe:
Butter. $6.99 a pound
Bacon $7.95 pound
1 pound ground beef $12.95
Milk 4 litres $8.00 (ouch).
However, we had a great time and the ski village was lovely. Take the trip on the aerial ride from the bottom of the ski village, over the buildings. It is a great view, and it is free.
The Luge is at the top of the run and is worth the money. However, it is cheaper if you buy a family pack of 12 trips at $82. Have fun!
