This was our first trip to Mont Tremblant and the first time we tried Skyline Luge. It was a lot of FUN!!! The whole family enjoyed this ride.
I recommend to come early or late to avoid a long line, especially if that’s your first ride of the day.

We wanted to try this attraction because it looked like it might be fun. It was ‘okay’ at best. We waited 30 minutes at the bottom of the hill to get up the lift and then another 1+ hour at the top for a quick ride down. Probably fun for little kids, but very pricey for one quick trip down the hill. Not something I’d do again. The staff selling tickets had no interest in interacting with anyone but each other and the staff at the top of the hill seemed angry and were unfriendly. The only guy who seemed happy was the lift operator. Save your money to do something else.

We came back to Mont Tremblant after coming for the first time last summer and the kids (and adults) could not wait to go on the Luge! We went 5 times and loved it! We would recommend going early or late in the day to avoid the lines.

Try to go early. By 11 the queue was long both to pay and for the activity. Weekends seemed busier than weekdays.
My teenagers enjoyed it but 3 times was plenty.

My less than 2yrs old baby was impressed and really liked it. She was sitting between my legs and this activity is safe for them because they have extra small helmets just for them. Good activity for the whole family. A little expensive but to take advantage of it, i suggest to take a 3 ride deal for 25$ instead of 17$ for one ride only.

This was exciting and fun for my whole family, and you will want to do this more than once. We went right at 9am and managed to avoid the long lines that this attraction has. Small children can ride with older children or adults meaning no-one is left out except small infants.

This was one of the best experiences we have had in a long time. Good for any age 3+ and a lot of fun. I would highly recommend to go with family and enjoy. I would next time do the 3-5 pass as the one pass was over so quick. Also if you have the 3-5 pass you get to by pass the line up mostly which is amazing!

We went on the luge several times during our stay in Tremblant. One ride won’t be enough, so buy a package of multiple rides which works out cheaper.
The experience starts by putting your helmet on (some have clips for Go Pros), and getting a chairlift to the top. You then queue for safety instruction (you only have to do this part for your first ride of the day).
It feels safe and is so much fun. Our children and we loved it!
First thing in the morning and later in the evening are more quiet.
I’d definitely do this again and it’s a must-do if you are in the area.

This was fun. What else can I say? I’m 67 and I loved it. My 2 1/2 year old grandson felt the same way

Is there a walkway / path to the start line of the Luge? My child has a fear of heights and won't ride the ski lift.

Is there a camera policy at this attraction? In other words, will I be allowed to wear a GoPro camera for the ride down?

Saw a number of people with go pros. They even have helmets (which you must wear) with go pro attachment devices on them.

Get the multiple ride package, 1 is not enough.
With the multiple ride package, can be around 10$ per ride. You can go tandem with young kids or a around 10 year old can go as long a they understand the instructions and can pull the levers.

Planning to come with my 22 year old daughter first of March 2017. How should the snow/ skiing usually at that time. If it is lacking do they generate the snow?
Best scenic French hotel to stay?
Activities beside the luge at that time of year.

Almost all of the hotels offer great views. The Fairmont is located right at the base of the hill so it would offer also great access to the hills. They do generate their own snow, but Tremblant typically has a good amount of snow anyway.

My family is going the last week of September. How is the weather?

It is not very different from Philadelphia at that time of year. The leaves maybe ahead in colour. Sometimes there are warm periods, sometimes colder, but no snow yet. Check with the weather network before you leave, to find out what the next few days will be like.
Caution, the restaurants in the ski village are way too high. Eat in the town of Tremblant. Groceries are really pricey too, so you might want to buy some food from stores, closer to Montreal.
Here are the prices I thought were too high to believe:
Butter. $6.99 a pound
Bacon $7.95 pound
1 pound ground beef $12.95
Milk 4 litres $8.00 (ouch).
However, we had a great time and the ski village was lovely. Take the trip on the aerial ride from the bottom of the ski village, over the buildings. It is a great view, and it is free.
The Luge is at the top of the run and is worth the money. However, it is cheaper if you buy a family pack of 12 trips at $82. Have fun!
