The photos of Blue Rocks are much more impressive than the reality. While it is easily accessible from Lunenburg, I’m not sure the trip is worth the time. The “blue” rocks are not very blue, and are not impressive at all. The retail around the...More

A very beautiful spot close to Lunenburg. offers great seascapes, rocky shore, crashing waves, depending on the weather. Picturesque fishing sheds and guided kayak tours. The rocks actually have a bluish tinge to them.

Our kids loved the blue rocks. They would have stayed here for hours playing on the rocks. It's a beautiful little spot off the beaten path for sure

Although a quaint little town situated right on the seaside it really is just more shoreline. Pretty in its own right but not really worth a side trip.

Great spot for an hour or so on a sunny day! Best if the tide is receding if the kids want to explore tidal pools along the rocks. Great photo ops!!

Our daughter was staying with some friends in a rented house here. The house was lovely and right on the ocean. It's a unique spot with lots of fishing huts and lots of rock with nearby beaches

Blue Rocks is a beautiful place just a short drive from Lunenburg. It is a bit off the main road but well worth the trip. If you are anywhere near Lunenburg and want to see an extremely beautiful spot, go to Blue Rocks.
