We are one of the oldest boat tour operators in Nova Scotia. Our three-hour tours include a variety of activities depending on the route and weather conditions. We don't always see whales but you will have an exceptional family outing. You will discover and can photograph Old Town Lunenburg from the water, see miles of rugged Nova Scotia coastline and observe and hear the rush of waves plunging ancient sea caves. We pass iconic lighthouses, stop briefly near Pearl Island (one of the few colonies of Puffins in the province) and often see dolphins, a variety of seabirds, leatherback turtles, sunfish, harbour seals and other marine species. As for whale watching, the variety of species we see is impressive. There are Fin Whales, Minke Whales and Humpbacks. And on very special occasions (and with a bit of luck) we have seen rare species, like the great Blue Whale, the largest whale (and animal) on earth.

The boat was fast and gave good visibility but whilst this is a great journey it seems you are unlikely to see what you expected. We totalled one seal, one gull: that's it! I wouldn't mind so much but there was no mention of this...More

they have a board outside their kiosk on white board they check off daily, telling you of "recent siting's" of blue whales, humpbacks, seals, puffins, leatherback turtles, tuna etc.. NONE WERE SITED EXCEPT THEY DROVE US TO A SHOAL WHERE 10-15 SEALS SAT. OTHER THAN...More

I thought I would have a whale of a time but I was left disappointed and annoyed. Lunenberg is a beautiful town I must admit but the lunenberg whale watching are a monopoly here. It was a total waste of 3 hours and $60. No...More

First of all I'd like to start by saying I'm not faulting the tour company itself. I know it's a risk that you take when you choose a whale watching tour that doesn't 'guarantee' you'll see whales. Our narrator was very helpful and informative when...More

This whale watching tour was a disappointment from start to finish, a giant waste of 3 hours and the most disappointing experience I had during my trip of the East Coast. When we boarded the boat they seemed to have overbooked the tour as 3...More

They were knowledgeable about the town but there were no whales to be seen. We traveled around for a while on the boat. They did happen to find some seals but we are not sure if they actually new where they were. They never talked...More

First off, there are a lot of negative reviews revolving around people not seeing any whales. That is always a risk you take when you go on any wildlife tours. It's not the fault of the staff if whales aren't seen. They don't care about...More

Well, I called a day before I made the reservation and asked what are the chances to see whales? A lady on the phone informed me that whales are there and we will see them in 100%. She also added that we would see dolphins...More

I read the reviews and should have paid attention, don't spend your money, go to Digby. I realize marine life is unpredictable but the staff was horrible right from tickets to end of the boat ride. We did not see whales (disappointed but understand that...More
