Myself and 3 friends had a fantastic round of golf on this beautiful course. Challenging, scenic and most hospitable. From my conversation with Mark on the phone while booking the round to Jason’s friendly service throughout the day, and of course Chad who went over and above the call of duty to return my misplaced phone. A huge thank you to you all and we hope to be back soon!

The golf course was designed around the view. Great job. The golf is ok but not great. Many of the holes require a blind shot which will not fare well with those only playing the course once. Due to the hills it is tough to get an even lie. However, the golf is the secondary feature for this walk. Everything is about the view of the town of Lunenburg and Lunenburg Harbour.
For a special treat stop and have lunch or a beverage at the course restaurant. Nothing fancy in terms of seating but the food is of exceptional value and certainly cheaper than many restaurants along the waterfront. And the added bonus - you are looking into the town of Lunenburg rather than from within it. What a bonus for all of us!!!

If you are a too serious golfer this is not the course for you, but if you are a casual golfer who can appreciate the view this is a great course. The course was in great shape and even though the holes are short there is enough challenge to make it enjoyable.

Looking for a gentle round of golf - try the Bluenose Golf Club. You need to be part mountain goat so renting a cart might make your round more enjoyable. Some blind shots so if this is your first time playing the course it would be advisable to play with a member - or at least someone who has played the course before. Our playing partner certainly set the record straight for me on a couple of holes. The fairways are generous, the greens small and generally putt slow. Play the break as it definitely breaks as much as you see. Remember where the water is.
Speaking of water - take a camera and stop to take pictures of there Lunenburg Harbour on many of the holes. My words can't describe the quiet beauty that awaits you. Where else can you look down on the majestic Bluenose II sitting in the harbour as well as so many other yachts. Absolutely enchanting.
The staff were very generous with their smiles and very helpful and welcoming. Well worth the effort to play. You will be rewarded with more than pars!!

Better place to have a beautiful picture of Lunenburg ! We didn't have time to golf but I would really liked to. Beautiful view and golf !!!

I didn't play golf; I went over to the course to get a picture of the harbor. It's a great view, one of the most photographed from the grassy knoll. Get a panorama shot, a selfie, or just a great one-shot.

This little town was beautiful and filled with so much history. Lunch was amazing, people so friendly. They had scarecrows all over the town and in front of homes. Great day!

I'm not much of a a golfer so I'll leave that to others. But I am an eater and I'll address the food. The fare is what you might expect at a golf club: burgers, sandwiches, salads, platters of fries with haddock, scallops or clams. Nothing fancy and the friendly service can be a bit sluggish when things are crowded. But you don't have to be a club member to eat here and the food is pretty good and well priced. And the best part: The view of postcard-pretty Lunenburg and its vibrant harbor is fabulous.
I gave the restaurant three stars, since Tripadvisor doesn't allow half-star increments. That's probably low, though four stars would be too generous. Unless you factor in the view.

The view of the Lunenburg Harbour while you golf is lovely. The course is very hilly, so if you don't like walking up hills you best get a cart. It can be tiring, and each hole is a decent length. It is a good challenge for the amateur golfer. The course is a bit confusing first time out and it would help if the scorecard included a map.
