I stumbled across Buckwallow while my wife and I stayed in Gravenhurst this past week. It was my wife's first time mountain biking so it was great that there were some easy trails to start her off on. We gradually made our way to some level 3 and even 4 hoof trails and had a blast doing so. Quite a... More

We have been biking Buckwallow for the past 3 years. This is by far my favorite X-Country Mountain bike centre in Ontario. Trails are exceptionally well maintained by Mike and his crew. Trails are varied. From One Hoof (great for my little guy when he started biking here at age 6) to Six Hooves (Expert trails!). Lots of rock and... More

Buck wallow is just a short walk or ride over from the local KOA. As we entered we were greeted with a warm welcome. Although we had no intensions in riding the trails this trip I was inquiring for my daughter which is coming up shortly to this area. Very nice trails ! Good equipment. And friendly staff answered all... More

Match your ability and you'll be fine. The trails are as good as it gets -- I went with someone who barely rides bikes and was fine. There are places where the trail splits for short times -- one side sedate and one more challenging -- and then joins up again. One thing, if you go into the bush like... More

WOW!! Where should I start...three of us came here today not sure what to expect, as two of us were first time mountain bikers. We had so much fun!! Mike and Sadie were super helpful and informative on what trails we would like the best. The trails were easily identifiable and were rated appropriately for their difficulty. I have a... More

I recently spent a long weekend riding here with 7 buddies celebrating my birthday. The centre is very well set up, marked and maintained. The rating system will help you find your comfort level and there is certainly something for everyone. Be warned, however, the trails do seem to get exponentially more difficult as you move up the scale. Regardless,... More

Buck has trails for everyone and I mean everyone: Little kids with training wheels through x-country racers through beastly, technical, north-shore riders!. There is double track throughout with single-track loops that meet back up on the double-track. If you have a mixed group, the beginner can ride ahead and avoid the 5-hoof technical trail and still meet up with the... More

Buckwallow Cycling Centre is like a Muskoka wonderland for mountain biking! It has something for everyone from beginner to expert riders. The trail system is VERY well maintained and the owners take a great amount of pride in providing you the best experience possible. Must see.
