The thing I really like about this market is the mix of stalls. Its a great place to get breakfast or snacks from many countries, with a coffee, honey tea or juice, while you buy your veggies for the week. There are cheese, meat, fish and deli stalls, and a couple of international bakery stalls. But you can also buy... More

A jumble of outdoor stalls set up in no apparent order in a car park in central Takapuna. If you love a community market, then go now before the land is sold for apartments (and sign the petition against it!). We got fresh produce, food to snack on, organic fair trade cappuccino, flowers and wandered past NZ hand made rock... More

I had really been looking forward to this farmer's market since before I arrived in New Zealand. However, when Sunday came the morning started off with a rather strong storm blowing through complete with rain and thunder and lightening. I did not expect that the market would still be open, so after the rain let up I went to the... More

A nice place o visit when you are coming to Takapuna, the market is open on Sundays. A lot of different kinds of food, gifts and entertainment in the heart of Takapuna beach. After that you can enjoy the beach. Not recommend when it is raining.

I love Takapuna market because it is variety products from farmers and handmade.

A lovely market, lots of variety in the stalls and always something new to explore. There are fruit and veg, yummy food, coffee (always good) and my favourite are the soaps and jewellery.

Its a busy crowded market and you can easily get here from the Auckland CBD, the most pleasant way is to catch a ferry from the bottom of Queen Street Auckland to Devonport where a connecting bus will meet you and twenty minutes later you will arrive in Takapuna right outside the markets. It is the buses final stop You... More

I like this Sunday market as it has a rather eclectic mix of stalls and products on display. Lots of fresh produce sold by the growers, fresh seafood, food stalls of all types. My faves are the french pastries yum. Also a variety of cheap imported lines, second hand art deco products, home made relishes etc. There really is something... More
