I came in to grab a small housewarming gift, and I was delighted to receive such amazing customer service! I was helped by a younger girl named Marie, who presented me with a great variety of gift options. After 10 years of living on the Sunshine Coast, I couldn't believe I hadn't ever stepped foot in this store! When I left I didn't just walk away with my olive oil, I walked away with one of the best customer service experiences of my life. This is a must-visit destination, whether you live on the coast or not.

Thank you for such a heartwarming and positive review. It's lovely that you mentioned one of our tasting guides by name, especially since she is still in High School and we are so proud of how poised and helpful she is. Seeing young people step up during the pandemic is very inspiring. Your review will be shared with our whole team - and we will all want to give her a big pat on the back. Thank you and Happy Tasting!

We visited The Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Company in July. A wonderful shop and a great experience testing and choosing both olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Iggy set up a taste testing table for us and we chose a bottle of olive oil and a raspberry balsamic vinegar. I highly recommend stopping by this store!

Thank you for reviewing us a few weeks after your visit. So glad that you had a positive experience and that you have found some personal favourite. As you know, as a COVID precaution we are currently doing all our tasting outside at a table set up for customers. Thank you for being open to the idea! Happy Tasting!

Stumbled upon them returning home years ago and loved their offerings. From salad toppers to marinades to spritzers the applications are numerous. I now order online. Superior quality products worth the price.

Thank you for your kind comments. It is so funny about the packaging. When we were first designing it almost 4 years ago, my husband was getting somewhat frustrated with how much of a perfectionist I was being about the packaging. So, every time we get a positive comment about the design, I get to tease him mercilessly. Fortunately he has a really great sense of humour about this!

I placed an order with the Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Company back in November 2013, just before their on line site was up and running.
I had e-mailed the Owner and was given a listing of 5 suggested pairings of Oils and Balsamics.
I ordered ten (10) (yes - really 10!) of the 375 ml bottles - 5 Oils and 5 Balsamics.
Total cost for shipping - $15.00, REGARDLESS of how much you order. Great deal for us Bulk Shoppers - and for those who do not have ready access directly to their store - LOL!
The box arrived within the week and with the great packing, nothing came damaged.
We have used all 10 bottles extensively in cooking, on salads, as drizzles and dips.
These products have completely changed how we cook and eat. Seriously, we have mixed and matched, and come up with some unique pairings on our own.
We LOVED all of the Oils and Balsamics we received - can't say enough about them!
The design on the bottles is very elegant, and I leave all of them in a mesh organizer on my kitchen counter. I've received dozens of compliments from people when they see my display; truly a work of visual art.
These are AMAZING products with a Staff that are extremely helpful with "newbies" to the flavoured Olive Oils and Balsamics genre.
Looking forward to my next order, and with a shipping price of a flat rate of $15.00, this business will boom with online sales!

What a treat it is to receive a review that explains our online store. I am not a tech expert at all, but our goal was to have our web designer create a site that was accessible and educational. Ideally, our website serves as a recipe, resource and re-order centre for anyone who wants to learn more about olive oil and balsamics, and how to incorporate them into every day cooking.
We are so pleased that your order arrived safely and the order process was easy for you. We guarantee the safe arrival of your shipment, and use shipping materials that are specifically designed for shipping bottles. We also wine cork the bottles so they can withstand pressure, and mark each packa as DO NOT SAFE DROP so they won't be left on your doorstep in the sun.
Thank you for highlighting this side of our business!

What a fabulous collection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars from all over the world. Nicely presented in dark bottles of all sizes. We also enjoyed tasting many different types of oils and vinegar. Great knowledgeable service.

Thank you for your review, particularly your comment about our staff. We have been very fortunate to find some great people to work with us, and every one of them delights in sharing their enthusiasm for our oils and balsamics. I am really pleased that you had such a positive experience at our store and in Gibsons. Since you visited we have expanded the recipe section of our website, so you may want to check that out sometime.

I visited the Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Company when I was in Gibsons in October. It is located in the part of Gower Pt. Road that has shops along both sides, very close to the waterfront. It is an enjoyable walk, with the opportunity to pop into various shops and browse around.
The most interesting shop is the Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Company. This is the first time I've ever been in a shop that deals exclusively with olive oil and balsamics. The shop itself is charming, with a beautiful view of the harbor.
The Sunshine Coast Olive Oil shop was something completely new to me. They offer dozens of choices among olive oils and balsamic vinegars, including award-winning products, with details about each one on the vats lining the walls. This arrangement makes it easy for them to offer you a sample of any of the oils that look promising, so you can taste before you buy. When you've made your decision, the staff person will decant the oil you've selected into a Sunshine Coast Olive Oil bottle. They have small, medium, and large bottles.
These are not the ordinary kinds of olive oil you'll find on the grocery store shelf. As I understand it, the Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Company belongs to a consortium of shops, all over the world, that work cooperatively to buy the best olive oil, guaranteed to be of the quality it says it is. The cooperative sends representatives to observe when the olives are pressed into oil, so they are able to confirm that if it says "extra virgin" on the label, it really is. One of the owners, Fiona, told me that, unfortunately, researchers have found that all too often what is in the bottles on store shelves does not match what is on the label. This consortium, and its member shops, like the Sunshine Coast Olive Oil shop, go to great lengths to be sure the legitimacy of the oil they sell.
Their olive oils come from all over the world, so there is a rich variety of taste. What's in stock changes seasonally, I was told, because of the different harvest times around the world.
The staff know a lot about olive oil, and they would have happily explained things like polyphenols and oleic acid and whatnot to me, but that was more than I needed to know. However, if you are a customer who wants all those details, just ask.
I decided to get gifts for people back home, because most of the people on my gift-giving list are foodies. It solved the gift issue easily. The staff were extremely helpful in narrowing it down, which was invaluable, because there are dozens to choose from. For one friend, I got a sampler box of half-dozen small bottles. For another, I got the olive oil butter, which is completely vegan, despite the "butter" in the name. It does indeed taste like butter. For another, I got a bottle of Hojiblanca, which won a "Best of Class" award at the New York Olive Oil Competition. More importantly, I tasted it and it was great. Since the company sells its products online, and ships, the people getting the gifts could obtain more for themselves later, if they liked what I gave them. They wouldn't have to come all the way to the Sunshine Coast.
If you're visiting the Sunshine Coast, go to the olive oil company when you're in Gibsons. If you're a foodie, or if you are looking for gifts for foodies, you really will have a lot of fun browsing around. Even if you aren't a foodie, it is interesting to visit. Everyone connected with it is friendly and helpful, especially the owners, Fiona and Matt. They welcome browsers.

Blueberry balsamic vinegar was my favourite but there are many different flavours to choose from! Maple, Lemon, raspberry are just of few of the flavours. Then check out the olive oils...again such interesting flavours. Learn how to mix different oils and vinegars to make a gorgeous salad stressing or stir fry sauce. The ladies working were so helpful and you are encouraged to try all the flavours!
I selected a few but my favourite is blueberry balsamic with lemon 🍋 oil!
Check it out yo will have fun and hopefully come home with some delicious oils and vinegars!

This place is amazing. Buckle down and prepare to spend some time here perusing the many flavours of balsamics, oils and white balsamics too. The staff are friendly and take their time to give you an optimal tasting experience showing you what flavourful pairings you can experience with the different types of product. A must see if you are in Gibson's Landing!
