Had the whole place to ourselves for a wonderful Cowboy styled Supper. The themed museum is rich with artefacts, information, and knowledgeable staff. If you love Canadian History as much as I do, don't pass this period Fort and Museum by.

If you are interested in the history the North West and of RCMP in Canada and the days of the Frontier's, then the Fort Mcleod Museum is iis the place for you. Please stay for the RCMP musical horse ride, definitely worth seeing!

A very nice collection of Indian artifacts and other artifacts of the Northwest Mounted Police. Very informative. We spent about 2 hours to take in all the information. Travel brochures suggest an hour. Don't be in a rush and you will likely enjoy the visit...More

Plan to spend at least a couple hours walking through the museum and around The Fort. The displays are authentic and give you an insight into life in the 1800's. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are part of it. It's worth the money...More
