This is my favourite provincial park in all of Canada. So beautiful and lots of waterfalls to see! A must stop for anyone in the area, do not miss it!

My sixth visit to this park over several years only confirms it as one of the best wilderness sites in Canada. The extra water melting this year has produced some spectacular effects on the waterfalls and rivers. Despite the recent storms the park is cleared...More

In early June the water was running very high thanks to better than average snowfall, so all of the waterfalls were pretty spectacular. We visited all of the bigger ones and weren't disappointed. Take the time to hike out to Moul Falls - it's only...More

Wells Gray is a provincial park so not as big but what it lacks in size is made up in quality. There are several waterfalls in the park and the chance to see deer, black bears and the odd Moose.Mosquito repellent liberally applied is required...More

A little hidden jewel full of trails and nice spots to see awesome falls, bears and other mammals. It's worth to spend 2-3 days over there.

Not so many people about here as some of the other parks. Great accessibility for the wonderful waterfalls.

If you want to see attractions within a short walking distance, this is not the park for you. We could only see three waterfalls (Helmchken, Dawson, Spahat) from our car with a short walk, as well as the tower on green mountain (which was boring)....More

One must go to see the falls in winter. The ice cone is amazing. Easy to access the view from the parking lot. Bring your snow shoes if you want to try out a few tracks, sometimes the snow can be deep. This is a...More

Hello Mary S. It does depend on how far in your B&B is, into the park. If prior to Helmcken falls, the road to there is paved. I would assume a good half an hour back into the town of Clearwater. One note is if travelling... More

Is the falls visible from the road or park? We are traveling with some elderly people who will not be able to hike very much.
