We came to have lunch while visiting an elderly relative. Lovely view of the gold course as we had lunch. The fish & chips was excellent , and my relatives come here regularly so definitely would recommend for food. Can't comment on the golf

We took a couple for dinner for there anniversary. The restaurant was pretty full,we sat on the patio overlooking the golf course…..stunning view.
The guys both order the peppercorn steak which was very reasonably priced. We weren’t expecting a lot since the view was fabulous but, the food came and was great. Both of them were extremely impressed with the portion size. Highly recommend.

What a well kept and conditioned course! One of the very best in BC that I have ever played! A nice challenge start to finish with greens in immaculate shape! Only my 3rd time ever too to play this scenic gem of a course! Staff nice in pro shop too!

I have made the mistake of ordering breakfast here on 2 occasions , thinking that the first time was an unfortunate exception. I won't make the same mistake again. Whils the food on average is pretty decent when the chef himself is doing the preparation, breakfast is terrible . The service not much better. I ordered poached egg and when the order arrived 25 minutes later it was someting that did not even resemble a fried egg and was drowning in processed cheese . My advice is that if you have lots of time go out on the patio and have coffeee and maybe an order of toast but be sure to say not to smother the toast in butter. If you are a little shorter on time do yourself a favor and get your own coffee

The Golf Course is beautiful, with just the right amount of shade on the hot days. The downside to such an amazing golf course is the poor service we received from the servers in the restaurant on a few occasions now. We’ve noticed some people (possibly members ?) are served first even when we were seated several minutes before them. Then we were told there was no dinner menu and then watched the waitress take veal cutlets to several guests. When questioned about this we were told the veal cutlets were only served to people playing in the tournament. As we were getting up to leave we saw three elderly ladies who were obviously not playing in the tournament being served from the dinner menu. I’m not sure who decides which guests are “important” enough to be served this way or not. I would highly recommend you reconsider your treatment of all paying customers. This kind of treatment will definitely help us when we decide where we will golf or enjoy a meal in the future. Very disappointed

I placed an order for pick up, the server was having trouble hearing me. I tried to remove background noise but she interrupted and said, “just tell me what you want”. When I went to pick up the order, I decided not to tip considering her attitude on the phone. When I was leaving the busy dining room, she called after me, “thanks for nothing”. Instead of learning from her mistake, she compounded the bad service.
I was a server for more than 20 years and never treated a customer that way. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

This is a well maintained woodland course with lots of variety and moderate hills. It’s walkable, but take a cart if you are not a long hitter, to maintain the pace of play. There are some interesting black sand bunkers, where coal sludge has been mixed with the sand. They have a fine texture that is easy to get out of. The pro shop is well stocked and the restaurant offers good midrange food at reasonable prices.

First time in Christina Lake and it is beautiful. Will return but definitely will not return to eat at the golf course. Most of these reviews must be from friends of the staff or owners. As soon as we walked in the two workers were rude. The food was great but you will have to find your own condiments and can forget about getting a refill on your beverage or beer. As soon as the food arrives they will ignore you. I can go on and on. Macdonalds is way more professional and has better service. People walked out even before they were seated because the staff was rude to them as they waited for a table. Wish we walked out before we ordered. I think they were either hungover or they hate their jobs and take it out on the customers. Never going back.

Excellent staff, good pricing, great course. One of my new favourite courses and I hope to return more frequently. The restaurant was amazing as well. Highly recommend.
