Originally booked in Mystery, but changed short notice to Terra Nostra due to operational issues. It worked out fine. The lodge is very good, with excellent facilities, food and service. The guiding (Klemens and Ian) was really good - as we were 4 boarders we were perfectly accommodated with challenging tree terrain plus some fast and steeper alpine (no walking...). Had one down day but plenty to do (ask for Sparkles) and we appreciated the fresh snow afterwards. 24 hours from Powder to front door (London) was convenient too!

Had a great week of skiing, even with mixed Weather in January a lot of great runs.
Operation/Guides seem very professional in regards of Weather, Terrain Analysis and Avalanche Risks.
Great Pilots, we always felt very safe.

Had a spectacular 5 day trip to Mystery Mountain Ranch. This is a working ranch that is off the grid. If you are looking for 5 star accomodations this is not the right lodge but I am not there for accom. Saying that the accoms were very homy and very comforable and very casual. I loved it...beds super comfy, sheets and towels and toiletries great.
The food - amazing. My only complaint was I eat what is in front of me and hence gained a few! Eating salmon and capers, homemade soup and sandwiches and warm cookies on the top of a mountain is pretty surreal. Breakfasts and dinners were gourmet.
The gear provided is all top notch.
The team was just great. All so very professional and so friendly. Loved spending time with all them - will be even better in a post Covid world!
The skiing tenure they have is spectacular. Best ski days of my life and that was due to long long vertical runs with pitch and unlimited visibility. If you know skiing in big mountains you know that each hour can be different than the last. You can get puked on snow or it can be drought. Safety conditions dictate often what you can and can't. I would say we got very lucky all in all and they guides and pilot did a tremendous job of finding us great runs as the days evolved.
Thank you Bella Coola team for giving our group the greatest ski experience in 22 years. Recommend without hestitation to anyone looking for a private heli-ski experience.

Just spent 4 days at Eagle Lodge to do Heli Skiing. We were nervous at first as couldn’t ski the first 1.5 days due to conditions but we more than made up for it. Skiing was sensational powder and the guides were outstanding. Thanks Ben and Steve!! The staff at Eagles were the best. Thanks Tina and the girls and the food, outstanding

April 2022 - Stayed at Tweedsmuir Lodge, and skied with Bella Coola Heli sports, all I can say is that I am honored to experience this special place! Spectacular views and runs. The guides and pilots were exceptional. Snow was deep and light (once you got to the lower runs was not as light, but that was the end of the run and the pickup zone). I always felt safe while still pushing my boundaries. The staff at the lodge were so nice and fun. Food and drinks were creative and delicious everyday. Had 4 beautiful blue bird days, perfect snow, one day with snow but still flew, and one down day, and took one day off as we were already over our vertical at over 130k. Not inexpensive, but highly recommend and worth the splurge , hope to go again!

Our 2nd trip with Bell Coola Heli was every bit as memorable as our 1st. Luxurious accommodations, the best guides, pilots food, staff and all around experience. Very tough to beat this place (5 stars)

Bella Coola is truly a Mountain Mecca... The massive terrain and deep fluffy snow make it an awesome heli skiing destination. It's a quiet and remote despite being only a one hour flight from Vancouver airport. We were greeted by easy going Bella Coola staff and told "Get your gear on and lets go skiing!" by our host Swede (Pete Mattson). I had no idea we would ski on arrival day. While we skied our gear was transported to the Historic Tweedsmuir Park lodge and deposited in our rooms. The food, individual chalets and facilities at the Lodge are awesome. The lodge, the people, the atmosphere and in particular the skiing made for a truly life changing experience. Definitely going back!

Can skiing get better than this? When visiting Bella Coola the success of your holiday is heavily dependent on the weather but if everything clicks you’ll be reluctant to ever ski anywhere else. Eagle lodge offered comfortable accommodation with friendly service and very good food. The small groups that are offered an extensive ski area exclusively are able to pretty much ski untouched runs with soft power ALL DAY. Skiing gluttony! Our guide Nic was professional, prudent and passionate about his job and responsibility and this, with favourable conditions, made for an unforgettable skiing experience.

A very dedicated and attentional team that looks after their customer very well. The terrain is exceptional, even with a lack of snow, we were able to make our first tracks, most of the days. The small groups in the helicopter is also a great plus. Eagle lodge is comfortable and intimate, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks to all for a memorable experience.

I had a wonderful time. Every one was professional and friendly. I was given the opportunities to not only to pick my line but , whenever it was safe, Paul allowed me to lead the pack. It was such a confidence building and self reassuring that I have never experienced in my other trips/adventures before.

Thanks for the great review Madi! As always, we enjoy skiing with you. And what makes your review so special, is that you are probably one of the most experienced heli-skiers that skis with us...actually you probably are with almost 6 million vertical feet under you belt!!! Respect!!
We hope to ski with you this winter :)
Cheers, Tim
