The most quintessential Canadian Winter Experience! Beautiful scenery. Lovely, friendly, gentle dogs who are keen to run! Experienced guides. What more could you want from a winter day?

This was my 4th time with Winterdance. Suitable for kids and adults. Come on people - we live in Canada - you must do it at least once:). If you're a visitor, then even more the reason to try.

Enjoy -its totally worth it!

Can cross off our bucket list! My sister and I did the half day dogsled tour. It was an extraordinary adventure from start to finish. We were in very good hands with our guides, Sierra and Craig. It was a pleasure to meet the owners, Hank and Tanya. They made you feel relaxed and welcome. Everyone is very informative. We learnt how loved and well cared-for the sled dogs are... it was fun to interact with them throughout the tour. The scenery along the trails is beautiful! Recommend this tour for all ages.

OKAY, be prepared for a wonderful communion with the DOGGIES. The experience with the doggies was so profoundly beautiful I was not sure whether to look at the landscape OR the doggies, so I just feasted my eyes on the doggies the whole time. When you turn up, you will hear the glorious roar-kus of the doggies awaiting your arrival, then enter the warm hut with fireplace and the lovely welcoming Barbara is there to sign you in and explain everything. Tanya was also there, so friendly and helpful. And then there are HANK and HIS MEN - I kid you not every single one of them are so nice and they CARRY the doggies to their positions, and they are so friendly - they tell you the names and quirks about the dogs. I recommend coming early as you probably need about 15 to 20 minutes early to prepare and go to the washroom etc. Some in our party were late, but Hank, Barbara and even the other people were so gracious but obviously try not to be late.

The 2 hour trip was a Christmas present for our son, daughter in law and our 7 year old granddaughter. They had an amazing afternoon. Our grand daughter got to ride with Hank in the lead sled and then with his encouragement she drove the sled on the way back. She was so excited that she talked about the dogs, the sled ride and the people for the rest of the day. . Thanks to the Winterdance crew (and dogs) for making this experience one our family will remember …amazing people, wonderful dogs and a beautiful location!

Enjoyed this dogsled tour despite a little mishap with a tree LOL. You can see that these dogs are loved and well treated. Hank (the owner) was our guide. He patiently answered all the questions that we had....how many dogs do they have, what do the dogs do in the summer, etc. It was probably one of the last days that they had the tours as the weather was warming up and the trails were slushy but we still had a great time. Would highly recommend this tour.

My family attended a half day to celebrate my husbands birthday. We had an amazing experience and would love to go again. My kids were already talking about “next time” on our drive home. A wonderful family business that is clearly centred around the safety and well-being of their dogs. It is apparent that these dogs are loved and honoured. If you have the opportunity to go, you should.

We had a great afternoon. The dogs were so happy & ready to run & clearly well cared for. The guides were friendly, knowledgable and so helpful. Weather was pretty near perfect. We are a family of 4, "kids" are 16 & 21; for us it was a great family excursion.
*Of note, WAZE will only get you partway, trust the excellent directions on the website.
