Devil's rock is an amazing place if you are into trails and hiking. Also, a great location to enjoy fishing.

Excellent trail and stunning views. This is a well recommended spot to go on a hike. Thankfully other hikers had indicated that there is a small parking lot that you can park at and only have a short walk to see the cliffs. You also want to go about 100 feet to your left of where the cross is in order to see the best view of the cliffs.

Trail B is rooty, rocky, rough and rugged! Lots of fallen trees over the path. Some muddy spots too. It was a blast! I wore trail running shoes and was totally fine. Trail is well marked with large B signs and flagging tape. I took trail A out to see what this trail was like. At this time of year it is really wet and mucky but people have made paths around a lot of the worst spots. The cliffs are absolutely spectacular. I'm so glad I took the time to finally see this beautiful trail.

We took trail A, just past the campsite off Hwy 567. A very fun trail to hike (even in the pouring rain!!). Amazing views. Be very careful as it is a sheer drop off from the edge.

We took trail A, since it’s about a 20 minute walk as opposed to trail B, a 45 minute hike. Wear good boots as parts of the trail is muddy and wet. It was a clear day when we hiked in, I think parts of the trail never get a chance to completely dry. Well worth the hike to one of the best kept secrets in Ontario. Highly recommend this one and don’t get too close to the edge of the cliff.

The path was predominantly muddy. There hasn’t been rain lately but it seems that the path was part of a stream and it’s still running. Wear hiking boots or you will ruin your shoes

The walk is rocky but easily managed with attention. The parking spot for ‘A’ holds three cars at most.

Views are stunning but timing is important so that the sun isnt in your eyes

Small area to get a great view across the lake. Takes about 15 minutes to reach the edge. Parking is limited at trailhead.

I was really excited to see Devil's Rock and was fortunate enough to have picked a clear sunny day to visit. The sheer cliffs and view over Lake Timiskaming are truly spectacular; well worth the short hike to reach the lookout. Trail access is off Bucke Park Road, however a shorter trailhead can also be found off Highway 567; just continue slightly further south. There are several good vantage points, however the best in my opinion is slightly to the left of the shorter trail terminus as you can see the "Devil Face" and cliff in full profile. Be cautious! There are no railings or anything of the sort between you and the 300 foot drop.

Take the "B" signs (not the "A" signs through a camp ground). This approach will give you the opportunity of the shorter or connecting longer hike. The trail is rocky so need to wear good hiking shoes. Wonderful views from the various lookouts.

I have been to the area about 5 or 6 times since buying property there in 1959, but never heard about the Devil's Rock until this trip. The trail out to the rock is 1.2 km long and is fairly easy although very rocky and is not wheel chair access able. The view of the lake is great and the 300 foot drop to it means caution near the edge. The trail I took is the A and it is well marked. Ask local people for directions to the parking area.
