- Marylou P1 contributionBeautiful forest with lots of short trails.Beautiful forest with lots of short trails. We went on a sunny Tuesday and parking lot was full by noon. There is a large kids playground, lots of covered picnic tables and a washroom. It’s a great place to have a picnic after visiting the fairy houses. There are a lot of beautiful trees so there is lots of shade. Would recommend coming with the family to unwind :)Visited August 2020Written August 21, 2020
- whirlaSurrey, Canada7 contributionsA bit of history oin this park!Redwood park is a lovely hidden gem...two brothers planted different species of trees long ago that are marked in the park. They’ve even rebuilt the treehouse that they lived in! I’ve seen many wedding photos talked in this beautiful park. There are large covered picnic areas for groups and clearings for sunny walks. The parking lot is a little tucked away but when you find it...the park is worth the effort!Visited January 2020Written January 7, 2020
- Sharon OWhite Rock, Canada59 contributionsBeautiful family park, amazing forest. This park is well worth a visit. We come here often with our grandchildren. The play area is great. There are lots of picnic tables for families. There are clean restrooms, and the best part is the historic treehouse and the fairy woods. Won’t spoil the surprise. It’s worth your time and enjoyment to discover it.Visited September 2019Written February 5, 2020

We had a family outing to this park on a hot Saturday. Having lived in the Surrey area for a while, I did not know about this park. Boy, I have been missing out. The story behind this park and all the different trees made for a great experience. I especially loved the big redwood trees featured in this park -they are massive!!! A great picnic spot (also a good place to have an outdoor wedding).

A beautiful park for a walk or to take the kids to play! Several kilometers of trails, playground (wheelchair accessible) and various picnic shelters.
One of the most beautiful sights in the park is the Sierra Redwoods.
The park is about 113 acres in size and features a very diverse and mature forest.
A beautiful walk, stroll for a couple or family.
Definitely worth a visit.

This is a MUST do for people who love to meander through woods. It's not one of the largest parks in GV, but it is very charming and quite accessible for wee ones and those with disabilities.

This park appears to consist of two different facets or personalities. The upper, flatter, northern level close to the entrance consists of parking, playground, restrooms, and picnic area; while the majority of the property is steep trails with little signage.
Other than the usual amenities expected in a neighbourhood park, I enjoyed the different species of trees that were brought in and planted by the original owners (hence the reference to "redwood") and was pleasantly surprised to come across the "fairy house" (birdhouses?) on the way back from my hike.
For those looking for a robust walk, be prepared for some tough trails. I would have appreciated more signage, other than the general sign near the top. Check my photos and see if you agree.

Yes, there is a suburban-style play park and there is also a nice, wide dirt path through the forest. Enjoy!
