I’ve been here for almost 2 months already and friends have shown me around to make me feel at home and to make my adjustment to a new life easier. And it’s been really good. My friends planned a picnic at blackie spit and to make it a reunion and like a welcome celebration for my migrating to Canada. We went on a Saturday and it was awesome! The place was bustling with people to spend a family or friends gathering. The place is beautiful! There was a clean public washroom area and ample parking. Lots of places to set up your only little spot for a picnic. Everyone was friendly and there was even an ice cream truck parked conveniently near the picnic grounds. Perfect for a summer day here in Surrey! So far my family and I have been loving it here in Canada and definitely our best decision to start a new life. It’s been great. We’ve been going around but that’s for a different review. More to come! I highly recommend blackie spit for a family or gathering of friends picnic day! This place is fantastic!

We went there for a few hours with daughter, granddaughter, and great grandchildren. Nice sandy beach for children. Had a great time. Tide goes out quite a ways, so good idea to check on that before you go. if you plan to swim. There are 2 free parking lots.

Lovely place for family fun at the beach! Dog area to allow them to enjoy the water. Flush toilets available & free vehicle parking. Recommend to everyone please give this park a try. COVID signage & information identified along the beach. Lots to do & take a stroll!
