I visited the Canadian Potato Museum expecting it to be a gimmick but I was pleasantly surprised how fun and educational it was! Of course I had to order some fries at the snack bar and they were DELICIOUS!!!

I enjoyed the museum, the historical and scientific background of potatoes, and data on modern potato farming. I was disappointed that the potato cafe was closed.

There is so much info packed into this place. I learned the history of the potato and where it actually came from. It was $10 to enter (less for seniors) and worth the stop.

We visited here the the weekend when O'Leary was having their "Hockeyville" presentation and award, and the town as all a buzz! It includes a nice little gift shop with all things PEI and potatoes!

Lol, my friends laughed at me when I said I wanted to visit. It was fascinating, lots of history and information. The food was yummy. Who knew that the humble potato was so interesting? I would recommend this to families and friends alike.

Well if you have not ever been to a potato museum this is the one to see. Kidding aside it did make for an interesting hour and something to see in this area of PEI.
