Unlike its more popular cousin around Stanley Park, this sea wall does not permit bikes but does allow dogs as long as they stay on the other side of the fence. Your pooch then walks parallel with you while you walk the wide, paved path....More

This is a great place to go for a walk whether it's hot and sunny or wet and stormy! The view is gorgeous, the walkway wide and the people friendly. There is a restraunt at the end called the Beach House, worth visiting with a...More

I often walk along here when I need a little solo time, or a good chat-walk with a friend...It's often busy, but in the cooler weather, it's a nice blend between city and water.

I live near this area and I have been coming here for years. The ocean view from her is beautiful, and anyone in the area should definitely go there.

The Seawall is a wonderful place to walk regardless of the weather. But on a sunny day it is absolutely wonderful with lots of people strolling. It is really too bad that the Canadian National Railroad is trying to force West Vancouver to pay a...More

A beautiful peaceful stroll regardless of the weather. Lovely waves lapping on the rocks. Often see seals and otters swimming and lots of bird action.

Beautiful walk right at the ocean. Large paved path with a dog path beside. Free parking close by as well as various coffee shops. Easy walk for all ages.

The West Van Seawall is a 'locals' gem. Stretching about 10-20 city blocks, most of it right on the water, it is a beautiful walk to view the outer harbour, Point Grey and views over to Vancouver Island. Ambleside Park is at the east end,...More

The West Vancouver Seawall is 1.7 km walk. It runs from Dundarave Beach to the bottom of 18th Street. Dogs are not permitted on the seawall but there is a path adjacent to the seawall for dogs. The views of Burrard Inlet, the ships travelling...More

Beautiful level walk from Lions Gate Bridge to the pier in West Vancouver. A certain portion is no dogs. There is a doggie friendly section where dogs can go into the water , off leash. It’s lovely.
