An easy drive from downtown Vancouver, it's free, and gorgeous. What's not to love! And - we even saw a young black bear here. Took about 15 minutes to drive here from Stanley Park, and it's a gorgeous view once you're up there. Really wonderful, and - unlike Grouse Mountain - completely free! Go!

This is a great place if you have a car to spin up and catch a great view. We just went las tweek(last week in April). The ski season is over but there is a spot about halfway up the mountain to catch a panaramic view of downtown. Best of all - it's free.

Wait for a clear day and take short the ride on Highway 1 out of West Vancouver up toward Cypress Provincial Park and you get spectacular views of Vancouver and Burrard Inlet. Cypress Bowl Road has a turnout just a few miles off of Highway 1 where you can see for miles and miles and kilometers and kilometers.

Great place for hiking in the summer - views over the city and the wilderness/mountain ranges to the north. Access point to the wild.

Always a favouriteof ours over the years as the kids grew up in Lynn Valley North Vancouver, nice sunset viewing, great to watch the English Bay fireworks, with out travelling across the Lions gate, and trying to get a parking spot in English Bay which is impossible.

Cypress Provincial Park is one of the things that I love the most about Canada, more specifically, Vancouver. You can get unparalleled views of Mother Nature, just a short drive away from the city. Never been here in Summer but in winter it is great. Despite the crowds of people, it was extremely peaceful and picturesque. We took a hike... More

Visiting Vancouver in winter, all you want is to be able to drive 20 minutes and experience true mountain-top snow, skiing, and snow-shoeing in beautiful surroundings. Welcome to Cypress. It's a short drive from Vancouver and unlike at Grouse where you arrive by a [picturesque gondola but have top pay to access even the basic facilities, here you can drive... More

TripAdvisor's map shows the location of Cypress Falls park , which is outside of the Provincial Park. The falls trail starts just off of Woodgreen Place ,a short street which is a right turn off of Woodgreen Drive . There is a parking lot near some tennis courts but go a little further and look on the left . There... More
