What a great place to visit. Really friendly and helpful staff that were very knowledgeable.
Loved looking at the exhibits and learning about the history of the building and surrounding areas.
It is free to enter but you can give a donation if you wish. There is plenty of parking right outside and you can even buy a souvenir to take home.
A must to see if you are in the area as really interesting.

This is a great little museum. The historic building itself was brought to its current location to save it from demolition, but the Historical Society has put it great use. The location is tCochrane Ranche Park, but the Ranche's old house is no longer there, and so staff are likely asked a 1000 times if it is that building. This building was actually built by the town's doctor in 1909 and was designed as a home and small clinic. The displays inside cover that, as well as other interesting aspects of Cochrane's history. Well worth the time for a short visit!
