The front nine was a bit slow, but thankfully the group in front of us asked if we wanted to play through at the turn, which we did.

Then we started playing the back nine extremely quickly, with no one in front of us, until the clubhouse allowed a group of six golfers to cut in front of us and tee-off on hole #13. This obviously came across as extremely rude and it significantly slowed down our pace of play. We complained to the manager after the fact and he didn't seem to care whatsoever. Apparently this happens every Tuesday evening for men's night, so beware...

This is actually one of the most beautiful courses I have ever played. Every hole is beautiful, and the mountain backdrop is breathtaking. The course is challenging and very well maintained. Absolutely worth the extra trip if you're in Whistler.

ONLY reason it didn't get 5 stars??? The mosquitos are ABSOLUTELY RAVENOUS!!!! Holy cow, you gotta bring some strong bug spray. Re-apply on the back 9 too. Really took away from the overall experience, we couldn't even sit outside after our round and have a drink.

I played here in the morning of Aug 19th. We were 2nd off that day and were extremely exited to play this course. I usually get to play here 2 or 3 times a year as I am in Vancouver and lover this place for its layout, scenery and staff.

This round and the associated excited was immediately replaced with annoyance and frustration. I was swarmed by mosquitos on nearly every tee box, in the fairway and on the greens. I sprayed myself with so much bug spray my clothing looked chalky.

In addition to the bugs there were several fairways that were essentially destroyed. We were told later it was due to flooding.

With this and a closed practice range due to maintenance it has hard to believe were still charged full price.

Incredible scenery on a poorly manicured golf course. In addition to being overwhelmed by mosquitos on 14/18 holes (every one in our group was bitten 30+ times), the course is in poor condition with many burnt fairways and marked up greens. I do realize that it's been a hot summer with little rain, however the $200 price point with a cart should come with a much better golf experience. Staff we're great. Golf course in poor shape. I will say that we've played this course 8-10 times over the past 5 years and that the course conditions have been dissapointing most rounds. 10 years ago I feel like the course was much nicer.

For the pricepoint you guys are at, the lack of GPS on carts, poor range mats, and haggard cart paths is disappointing. A nice track, great scenery, but if you want to charge 179 for a round, cart and bucket, I suggest picking it up on these points.

Everything was top notch. First time there, and it did not disappoint. The course and views are spectacular! The Clubhouse manager was super friendly, Andrade me feel welcome. I didn't catch his name, bit he shared it was his 13th year there. I would definitely go back if I ever make another trip to Pemberton. We were staying in Whistler, but definitely worth the 30 minute drive to Big Sky.

Big Sky was closed for a wedding on our first visit, but so glad we came back a second time! Wow! what a spectacular view! Got to be one of the best views from any restaurant we've been to anyway!
Loved the sculptures coming in, a nice touch and quirky too.
We are not golfers, but headed in for a spot of Lunch which was delicious.
This was the last day of our Holiday seeing our Son, but Alana , his Friend , and who also helps out at Big Sky was there to help cheer us up!

Even though we are now into October and the course will close later this month, the condition is superb. Fairways are still in great shape and the greens are fast. I hope to get another round in before it closes. Great deals for BC residents right now as well. This course never disappoints. One of the best in BC.

We signed up for the Big Sky amateur golf two day event and between the course conditions, the spectacular scenery and the fantastic warm welcoming from the proshop staff and the GM Michael Mac Neil we couldn't have had a better experience. The course was in beautiful shape and we look forward to doing it all again next year. We loved their practice facilities... The five hole par three is brilliant. Something every course should have.
