Information in every room to tell you what you were seeing and friendly staff to ask if you had any questions.Marvellous Dolls House, interesting kitchen and servants areas which you normally do not see.Nice large cafe with good service.

Wonderful well kept grounds offering superb views to the coast and the house has some interesting features especially the underground servants tunnels. Also had a lovely cafe and shop which has the usual NT offerings. Found this a wonderful place to relax and to switch...More

The house has an interesting story to tell and is set like a jewel in the landscape. Rather dark inside. Shows servants rooms as well as upstairs.

Visited this National Trust property whilst on holiday in the area. Easy to find and well signposted, plenty of parking on arrival and an easy walk to the entrance. Recommend watching the video about the fire before you go round the house as it brings...More

Worth visiting to see the amazing work since the massive fire in the late 1980’s. Almost to totally destroyed this is a tribute to those people who sponsored, managed and carried out the amazing restoration.
