We booked an Archipelago Wildlife Cruise when staying in Tofino and it was the highlight of our trip to the Vancouver island. In spite of trying to guess the best weather possible we were unlucky and had a rather grey and chilly day in August;...More

Al and Toddy welcomed us to their home: they live on the boat. It was immaculate, even though it was the last tour of the season for them. The boat is big, powerful, and maneuverable. They took us places to view wildlife which seemed impossible...More

After booking a trip with Archipelago Wildlife Cruises over 12 months ago we finally had the pleasure, today, of meeting Toddy and Al and boarding their beautiful cruiser. It was made clear from the off that there was no guarantee of what wildlife we would...More

Unfortunately weather conditions meant that we were largely restricted to cruising the inlet waters, but Al and Toddy ensured we had a rewarding time seeing the seals, eagles, wolves and other wildlife around Ucluelet. This was easily the most friendly and informative cruise we have...More

We went to Ucluelet hoping to see the Broken Isles, and Archipelago Wildlife Cruise delivered. Pretty much the only other way to reach this most isolated part of the Pacific Rim National Park is to be both an experienced open ocean kayaker and wilderness backpacker,...More

This tour is meant to go and see as many wild animals as possible without chasing them around. We didn't feel like the usual whale or bear cruise because it gave us the feeling of beeing restricted to one species where there are so many!...More

Where should I start? Well, first of all I have to say, that we are returning guests. I wrote a five star review back in 2014 about this cruise. But now in 2018, many things seams to have been changed. After the registration you‘ll get...More

We researched the various boat options from both Tofino and Ucluelet - Archipelago seemed to offer a tour that focused on various wildlife (instead of just whales or bears), it also cruised through the Broken Group Islands AND the trip lasted nearly 6 hours -...More

Hello, We are now closed until early May. However there are other companies which stay open all year. They will run in November, weather permitting. You could try either Subtidal Adventures or Beachcomber Ocean Tours.
