Spent a rainy day here and loved it. The displays are phenomenal and the octopus is worth the visit. It's a bit costly but it goes towards upkeep.

This is an excellent display of local marine environment. Well managed and maintained we were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it. There is some interesting shopping nearby as well.

You have to go to this aquarium. The catch and release philosophy makes so much sense, the staff is knowledgeable, and it's just the right amount of aquarium to get an appreciation for some of the underwater wildlife here.

The Ucluelet Aquarium is closed seasonally for general maintenance and re-collection of our species. We close in December and re-open again in mid March.

No pets allowed inside, unfortunately. Too easy for them to snag some fresh seafood from the open, low level aquariums.
