Great little aquarium.

Run by locals, the girls that we spoke to had a passion for their area and the marine life. Worth a visit.

Ucluelet Aquarium is probably one of my favourite aquariums visited. It feel less like a theme park with sea creatures and more like a nursery for the animals in their care for a while. The staff, whilst busy going about there tasks, were friendly and always ready to stop and talk. The fact that the aquarium operates a catch and... More

Although small this aquarium has lots to offer and is worth a visit to find out all the creatures that live in its harbours waters.

Took a little excursion from Tofino to Ucelet one rainy day and stumbled into this sweet little aquarium. What a lovely way to expose the little one's AND adults to sea life. The tanks are well taken are of and many are laid out to replicate the bottom of the sea floor. Enjoyable experience!

Great place to learn about marine biology close hand. It is small, but we'll kept. All staff are educated and eager to talk about the local diversity of marine life.

This is a new, and relatively small, aquarium managed by the local community -- but it is friendly, informative, and a complete surprise given the size of Uclulet

A nicely appointed small aquarium and certainly worth a visit, especially if travelling with children

We weren't sure what to expect from a small-town aquarium, but the displays and variety of sealife is impressive! Our favourite was the large pacific octupus and the incredibly colourful anemones. This was sell worth the price of admission, and I love that the creatures are only kept on site for a few months before being returned to the wild!

We visited the aquarium as something to do for the day, and our guests ranged from 12-50 and everyone enjoyed themselves. The touch tanks were incredibly interesting, and so was the giant octopus! The staff was incredibly friendly, and we got to see the wolf eel be fed small crabs which was quite something. Sea creatures are cool!
