I took myself on a solo birthday trip. I wanted to do something active and a little brave. I had kayaked a few times in my life, but I definitely was not a "kayaker" when we started. I wasn't sure what to expect, and even still, the experience was amazing!
The communication was clear beforehand. We were out with a small group (myself & 2 other couples.) Our guide was so knowledgeable about the area and history. He also cooked all our meals and each one was gourmet! Delicious! The camping set up was great too. I slept so well each night! I was also shocked at how much gear and luxuries fit in our kayaks.

Great nature, perfect equipment, very friendly and experienced guides! Guides shared a lot of information about the places we've seen and drew our attention to some animals that would otherwise have gone unnoticed.

Amazing experience. We were buzzed by bald eagles, saw giant jellyfish and learned about indigenous and settler history of the harbour. Our guide was thoughtful and helpful. Will book again!

Fun and great way to see the landscape and wildlife close up. Sam was a great guide, spotting wildlife from far away and sharing her knowledge and insight about the region.

A beautiful day kayaking on the water in the harbour. Our guide was terrific and shared lots of local knowledge with us. Saw plenty of wildlife. Highly recommended.

About as simple an easy as it gets. Park at the marina, walk down the dock and off you go. Scenery was stunning, quality of gear was top notch. They even had the coolest little set-up designed to help you easily get in and out of the kayak. Sam was a terrific, personal guide and spent time pointing out wildlife and sharing her in-depth knowledge of the area. Truly enjoyed this excursion and would recommend. Will likely plan to come back and do a longer tour in the future.

We booked the Harbour kayak tour one day before. Shortly after we came to the harbour our guide Emma arrived, and we were surprised, that it was only us two to take part in the tour. It was so pleasant, Emma is such a nice person with lots of knowledge about nature and culture around. We saw a bear with two cups - so sweet. Emma said, she heard and saw us, but wasn*t bothered at all. We felt safe and well informed during the whole tour, and Emma is a really great gude! Thanks once again for this beautiful experience!!!

It was a magical adventure with our guide Nolan giving us little ‘TED Talks’ about the animals we saw along the way. The food was amazing as was the equipment for the excursion. I highly recommend using this company!!

Excellent value for money. Our knowledgeable guide educated us with local history as we paddled through the Ucluelet inlet. She scored 10/10 for wildlife sightings which included close ups of a king fisher, bald eagle, and sea lion which swam in front of us. We paddled across the inlet and watched a very healthy black bear flipping rocks for snacks as the salmon literally jumped out of the water near our kayaks. I was looking for a shorter introduction to the local waters without water taxi and this tour was perfect. I will try something more remote next time.

Did a 3 day kayaking tour of the Broken Islands with 3 friends as part of 8 person group. Our guides, Kevin and Kristina were excellent. Both were very knowledgeable and eager to share stories and facts about the islands. They had a strong awareness of our impact on the environment and did whatever they could to minimize our carbon footprint. Throughout the trip they acknowledged the history of the First Nations in this area and demonstrated tremendous respect towards their culture. The food was amazing. We were provided with good quality gear. Would highly recommend touring with Hello Nature - for both the novice and experienced paddler.

How rough is the boat ride? Is It very bumpy? I have a neck condition but can do active low impact things, kayaking is ok, just worried about bouncing around on a boat. Since this seems inland it may be more gentle than the Hot Sprijgs boat tour out of Tofino(one boat company had a warning about this). Thanks!

On this particular morning the water was like glass. We had chosen the Harbour Kayak tour and no issues. We did not go out on any boat tours. If it’s choppy then you may want to pass. It will all depend on Mother Nature.
