Spent the day with Phil on the Coastal Waters tour. Had a great time! Covid protocols followed at all times. Phil went through all the safety information, and instructions about the kayak.Weather was great, sunny and not windy, seas were very civilised (not convinced Phil had a hand in that). A great lunch was served mid trip. Trip concluded with a tour of the north harbour, saw a mother black bear and three cubs! Phil insured I was comfortable and if I needed breaks throughout the day, he had lots of information on the areas we visited, but also didn't talk the whole time, but allowed me to enjoy the peace and quite on the water. Thanks Phil for a great day!

Our first time out kayaking and we were fortunate to have a private tour with our guide Cali. She was kind and very helpful despite current Covid19 regulations. She did an excellent job explaining the use of the kayak and the history of the harbour. She was great company, felt like hanging with a friend. Will definitely be back again! Thank you Hello Nature!

Did a 3 day kayaking tour of the Broken Islands with 3 friends as part of 8 person group. Our guides, Kevin and Kristina were excellent. Both were very knowledgeable and eager to share stories and facts about the islands. They had a strong awareness of our impact on the environment and did whatever they could to minimize our carbon footprint. Throughout the trip they acknowledged the history of the First Nations in this area and demonstrated tremendous respect towards their culture. The food was amazing. We were provided with good quality gear. Would highly recommend touring with Hello Nature - for both the novice and experienced paddler.

Did the five day kayak adventure in the Broken Group Islands. Was a great trip with amazing sea life. The guide - Jonathan - was terrific, very informative on wild life, culture and first nation history. He made sure everyone was safe without restricting our adventure. The food, prepared by Jonathan was excellent and plentiful. We especially enjoyed the baked goods prepared by Kevin's wife.
If anyone is planning a trip to this area during early June, you need to be prepared for cooler weather and lack of sunshine. It was not possible to dry anything due to the lack of sunshine. Although with this type of weather we did get calm waters throughout our trip which allowed us the paddle every day and even venture into open area.

My son and I did the half day Ucluelet harbor tour with Cali and could not have asked for a better experience. Cali greeted us at the dock with the brightest smile to start things off just right. After we were safety briefed and geared up, we got into our tandem kayak using a stability jig which let us stay completely dry. We then paddled around at a leisurely pace on super calm waters. Cali was a great guide providing lots of great info on the local wildlife and town history. We spotted tons of bald eagles flying overhead, some surprised harbour seals and various underwater sea life. My 11y/o was stoked for the rest of the day with what he experienced. Also, for those concerned with anything COVID related, they took all the precautions one might expect.

My girlfriend and I spent two hours on the Harbour tour with Kevin our lovely guide. He had so much information for us on the local wildlife of the region, cultural sites of the indigenous peoples, and town of Ucluelet. Kevin was very flexible in arranging our departure time, and made all aspects of the payment and preparation seamless. We both had such a blast, and can not recommend this service enough. We will definitely be back to try the broken island tours. Thank you Kevin!

It was my pleasure to take you and your girlfriend kayaking in the Ucluelet Harbour. We hope you enjoy the end of your semester at UVIC and hope to see you again in the Ucluelet / Tofino area.

1 day Kayak Tour of Broken Group Island. Totally great tour on the water! Jon & Cally are #1 guides, ensuring safety, care & attention to customers needs & ensuring they have a wonderful & enjoyable experience. Boss’s wife’s cookies were the best, Jon’s Chia Coco a special added touch & the lunch was good. As 60 yr old & beginner kayaker they made it very memorable adventure. Thank you to Kevin & his team.

We hiked with Kevin as our guide and region expert, and Catherine also providing local knowledge, along Wya Point coastal old growth. Fascinating natural and indigenous history along the hike, which took us through a few steep crevasses safely traversed with handhold lines. Great way to spend a half day.

Our five day paddle in the Broken Group allowed us to see most of the Island groupings. 4 - 5 hours of paddling each day. Three good meals ( bring some snacks if you get hungry between meals) each day. Well maintained equipment. A commitment to working with the Indigenous communities who have stewarded these Islands for millennia. You have to be ok with fog and rain - bring lots of layers for time in camp ... it was cool in the evenings in late August. And ... it's a photographer's paradise!!

I had the best trip with Hello Nature, Easter Weekend during the herring spawn. Kevin was organized, communicated well had patients with all of my questions. I joined the group as a solo old lady and felt very welcome. Eric made us delicious food, shared lots of facts about sea-life and indigenous history.
We saw Gray Whales, Orcas, a Sea Otter (which is a big deal!) Sea Lions, Sea creatures, a beautiful sunset and shared stories around an evening beach campfire.
Our gear was immaculate, safe and if they had control over the weather they get 5 stars for that too. Perfect 2 day paddle.
Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
