Reel Fishing Adventures will not disappoint! Had an incredible day fishing with my sons, and it’s all thanks to Mark. He’s not just a great guide—he’s the fish whisperer! His boat was spotless, fully stocked with gear, and he knew exactly where to find the fish.
As if reeling in some great catches wasn’t enough, Mark took the experience to the next level. We limited out on salmon and got some halibut. Mark spotted a killer whale for us and shared his insider tips on crabbing. To top it all off, we ended the day with a fantastic barbecue.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable fishing trip, look no further. We’ll definitely be back!

Captain Mark is very safety conscious, takes great care of the people on his boat and makes you feel safe, comfortable and welcome on-board his boat. During admittedly tough fishing we hooked 4 fish and 3 were keepers. Everyone got a chance to reel in a fish and we all had a great time with Captain Mark.
I highly recommend Mark’s Reel Fishing Adventures for anyone wanting a quality, enjoyable fishing trip in Ucluelet.

I thought “ come as a client, leave as a friend” was just a cliche but with Mark Durante of Mark’s Reel Fishing Adventures it’s a truth.
My Son in Law and I just spent 3 incredible days with Mark and his boat Easy Days fishing off the west coast of Vancouver Island. What a great experience!
The Easy Days is a 29 foot boat equipped with all the amenities and technology to assure fishing success. It’s twin 300 hp motors provide more than enough power to take the tops off the waves and get to the hot spots quickly and safely.
Our day started at 6:00 AM and literally minutes after departing we were dropping our lines over one of the many”hot spots” Mark knows. From there on it was just plain fun! Mark really works giving great advice on lures to use, depth to fish and constantly checking to ensure lines were clear of seaweed and debris. It wasn’t long long before we had our first hit, a 14 lb Chinook beauty and the largest fish I had ever caught.
We took our limit inChinook Salmon even though many charters were coming home without success. Most of the fish we caught were in the 12-16 lb range but two of them were well over 20 lbs.
We also tried for halibut but were not successful in getting any in the boat - not for lack of trying. One snapped our line like it was spaghetti. Still, the time spent wasn’t wasted as we got to see dolphins, whales and sea lions up close. That alone was worth the price of the adventure.
If you really do want to come as a client and leave as a friend I highly recommend Mark and his Easy Days -I know we’ll be back.

Thank you for booking with me after all that being going on ..
Since you booked way back when , it was touch and go for a few months .
But we got out there and had a great time .
I’m happy that you guys got your salmon , it was hard fishing but you got it done ..!!!

Sure would have like to know what was on your rod when you booked into the monster on the bottom of the ocean !!
Might have been the plug to drain the ocean lol lol ..

Just had a really enjoyable fishing trip with my father in law.
Mark was extremely knowledgeable with the area and the different techniques to use. The salmon were scarce, but he knew where to go and we were still able to catch our limit even though many other boats weren't so lucky.
He showed alot of patience even after i let a few big ones off the hook. Then taught me how to catch the fish properly and make sure they make it into the boat.
The sheer beauty of the area was enough to want to do it again. Getting to see the whales and dolphins was just a bonus.
Id highly recommend Marks Reel Fishing Adventures.

We took our 4 and 8 year old daughters out fishing for the first time and Mark was extremely accommodating. He was a great guide and knew which spots to take us. Our girls had a great and memorable first time! Thank you very much Mark for all your hard work it was greatly appreciated! We will definitely be back!

3 of us booked a charter with Mark’s reel fishing adventure. We had fun caugh good fish. Boat was well looked after and clean. We caught sockeyes coho rock fish and I know if my stomach could have handled the rough seas we would have caugh halibut also. The boat is a 32 foot so is very comfortable for the 3 of us. It was kept very clean. Every time we brought a fish in the boat was washed down so no fish smell. He grew up on the ocean so knows it well. I would recommend it for everyone to go on

I can't say enough good things about Mark. He is an amazing guide, very patient and friendly. Personalable and really takes the time to make sure that you have a great time on the water. I will definitely go on another charter with him. He knows his salmon and halibut fishing and will take the time to give you detailed instructions on how to fight big fish. Thanks again Mark for an amazing day on the water.

Amazing day of Fishing with Mark! Our family were in great hands, felt 100% safe and brought home a boatload of salmon. Mark is great with the kids and knew all the best fishing spots. A thoroughly enjoyable day!

Marks Reel fishing adventures is a must do fishing trip. Mark was funny, informative, and talked me through every step when I was reeling in my very first ever 20 lb Spring Salmon!!
His boat “Easy Days” was clean and equipped with all the necessary safety gear and amenities.
Whales, Sea Lions and dolphins came to visit which was a bonus for this already amazing adventure. Thanks Mark, I’ll definitely be back!

We had three adults and three kids in our group, and we had an awesome day on the water. Mark was professional, knowledgeable and great with the kids.
I've been out with several guides, and was really impressed with Mark's boat, his demeanor and with how hard he worked to put us on the salmon. We booked a 6 hour day and bagged 5 beauty chinooks.
