Totally enjoyed the walk through the forest and the stunning coastline. It's a sight I would never get sick of. Lighthouse wasn't all that interesting to me, however the rocks were fun to climb on and I then spotted my first whale! Definitely worth a visit though.

Amusing views around every corner on the Wild Pacific Trail to and from the lighthouse. An easy walk and worth every step.

Nice easy walk with great views! Be prepared for the weather and wear a rain jacket. Unfortunately you can't go into the lighthouse.

We had a beautiful sunny day yet very windy for our visit. Lots of people like to go further out on the rocks towards the ocean but there are signs advising to stay off the rocks. Mother nature could change on a dime...

We met an elderly couple of which the man had spent many years doing maintenance on the lighthouses of the west coast of Vancouver Island. Great chance meeting, but that's what happens when you greet people..totally enjoyed the lighthouse and its closeness to history and the Great Pacific Ocean.

It wont be the highlight of your trip to Ucluelet by visiting this lighthouse but the surroundings make it beautiful. Right on the Pacific Rim Trail, you can hear the fog horn & fog whistles. The Navy were doing exercises when we were there saturday and we met some nice people on the trail.

Bring your binoculars as you can almost see Japan. Not really but that is the next stop. Can drive to within 100 meters to unmanned Lighthouse. If weather okay a geat place for a picnic. West Coast Trail runs by the Lighthouse. Can be beautiful there with all sorts of weather.

Take a stroll or a 2.6 km walk on the Wild Pacific Trail from the Lighthouse. Great ocean viewing from here. This is an excellent place to watch storms roll in off, the open Pacific Ocean. It is great any time of year. Just dress for the weather. I have been out here many times in my life. We had... More
