Glenwood Cemetery is open to the public for visitation and walking seven days a week. Our site is located on 62 acres of scenic rolling hills and varied natural landscape. Designed as a garden cemetery, visitors are welcome to enjoy Glenwood's majestic mature forests, gardens, water features and winding walking paths. Bring your cameras and binoculars, because Glenwood is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. Glenwood Cemetery in Picton, Ontario has been a serene resting place since 1873. We offer a variety of interment options: in-ground and cremation burials, natural green burials, a scattering ground and columbaria. Professional and sensitive service are a priority for our staff.

Has a nice hiking trail (around 2km) with lots of hills, a pond, old graves and a natural burial section. Really beautiful place.

Visited for first time last month. One of the very nicest cemeteries I've ever been to from a landscape perspective. Lots of history of local families, local military history, unique stone chapel and vista of planted pond with fish. Miles of trails to walk in a quiet setting away from the hubbub of Picton in the summer. Understand they host concerts in the open green space by the chapel and weddings.

After breakfast we took a detour driving by this cemetery. Wow, we will be back in the spring. Besides being a cemetery - it looks like a beautiful park.

we love to take a walk here in the morning before starting out on our days journey .. you can choose a short walk or you can walk every street and look at as many headstones as you like,, especially if you are from the area and may have relatives .. not far from downtown picton either ...
