This lovely curated tour of Picton brought us to many venues within easy walking distance in between. Our guide animated what we were seeing with historic anecdotes and humorous colour commentary to keep us amused and engaged. At many stops we tasted samples of the bill of fare and heard from the owners themselves tell their stories. I learned so much and am inspired to return to some of the places I discovered with Epicurious!

My "wander" with County Epicurious was a very fun and delicious experience! Despite the rainy day, the guides kept the vibes cheerful and we got to tour through some gorgeous historical buildings that I've never had a chance to explore, such as The C.A.P.E. and Merrill House. (I live locally, but have only been here for a couple of years, so still discovering local treasures!) All of the food we tasted was incredible, from freshly prepared juices, sweet and savoury snacks, a grazing picnic of locally made nibbles, and truffle parm fries! My favourite was the brioche french toast served at The Manse, a tucked-away establishment in the heart of Picton that I didn't even know existed. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the wander and would highly recommend it. I am looking forward to booking tours with visiting friends and family this summer.

It was really enjoyable afternoon. We visited many different venues, all were delightful and we had quite delicious tastings at several of them ending with cocktails at a charming bar. Our host, Neil, was so knowledgeable and provided a fascinating insight into the history of Picton.
I highly recommend Epicurious !

An experience second to none! Although we are lifetime County residents, we learned so much about the history of Picton and its historic buildings, as well as enjoying stops at curated shops and vendors. We enjoyed savoury treats and refreshments along the way. The bustling market was a treasure and the highlight of our wander was the brunch at the end of our Sunday morning tour. We loved it so much that now we'd like to do one of the full-length wanders! It was a wonderful way to spend our anniversary.

It was a lovely afternoon wander in Picton filled with delicious bites of food and historical knowledge! I had been to Picton a few times before but this was a great way to get a much better appreciation for what all these establishments have to offer. Such a fun afternoon and I will be returning again!

We did the midweek afternoon Wander. What an amazing way to learn about the historic downtown of Picton while sampling excellent cuisine and treats along the path. Neil and Lindsay were most excellent hosts with great knowledge and attention to detail. Great value and well worth the afternoon spent.

Lindsay and her partner Marie have created a must do activity in Picton.

As a local food entrepreneur, I was amazed both with learning the rich history of the gorgeous buildings I take for granted and walk by each day, and with the gorgeously curated selection of food/drink experiences on offer during this tour. Will certainly be recommending this tour to both local and visiting family and friends! Bring your appetite!

EVEN AS A LOCAL THIS WAS A FUN AND INFORMATIVE TOUR! (RE) DISCOVERED RESTOS AND SHOPS WHICH I WILL ENJOY VISITING AGAIN.
HAVE ALREADY ENCOURAGED SEVERAL OTHER LOCALS TO TAKE THE TOUR BEFORE IT GETS BUSY.
WELL ORGANIZED WITH MUCH THOUGHTFUL EFFORT BY COUNTY EPICURIOUS AND THEIR PARTNERS.
