This statue has been removed by the city. Not certain if it is storage, destroyed or relocated to somewhere else.

The setting is of MacDonald as a lawyer in a court room setting. Unless John A. was 6'5" or so, the statue is not life sized.

One of a kind so work a picture.

Downtown sculpture of Sir John A MacDonald is situated in a very nice area.
There is a seating area close by to enjoy the scenery.

Took a late summer vacay to Prince Edward County and happy we did. Stayed at West Lake and toured Blomfield and Picton. Was interesting to learn a little more about Sir John A at the statue in his honor. Sit in the chair and gave your photo taken. It's located by the Armoury.

We came across this statue of John A and the lovely building and open space where it stands on main street in downtown Picton. Interesting and nice spot -

We look a few photos with Sir John and then speculated that we may not get another chance. They are currently debating whether they should pull his name from schools in Ontario due to his part in the residential schools of the era, so it would follow that they would remove this and other tributes to him.

Stop by and take a selfie with our first Prime Minister. The statue is life size and smack in the middle of town. Wish we had more time to visit the military museums as well.
