We Were very disappointed with our experience with their owner Warren. One of his staff member, rented us a 10 passenger Pontoon when she knew we were 12 but had told us that the kids didn’t count. With the bad weather ( poring rain and thunderstorms announced) we felt totally unsafe to be so many on the Pontoon( the sticker on the boat showed 10 passenger or 1500lbs) and were over 1700lbs.. and the owner refused to refund us or give us a credit for another day. And didn’t have a bigger boat to give us. Not flexible at all.

Second time renting a pontoon boat for 3 adults and 6 kids and had a great experience. Quick check in (they let us take the boat 15 minutes early which was much appreciated!) and good orientation to the boat. We enjoyed a great 4 hours exploring West Lake, the dunes and along the shores of Wellington!

I"ll start with I have not gone to this place but after contacting them for information, I would not go to this place. The lack of information was ridiculous,and the time it takes for them to get back to you is not good. I would hate for anything to go wrong at a place like this, for the time it takes them to answer a simple question and time frame, this could pose serious problems.
I had a simple question: Do you rent boats and do you have space for our RV. They could not answer that question but rather shot me a message saying "here's our open and close hours". Not helpful at all. I repeated my question, and again, was only given the open and close hours. Thus I'd not recommend this place....and now that I see the rest of the reviews, it appears it's a good thing I did not stay here! I see now the play equipment in the water,,,so as they have already proven to be thoughtless,,,,,I wonder how safe their equipment to be! Have your list of questions before booking this place and ensure you get solid answers before booking if you still wish to go ahead and book would be my advice.

Rented 2 Jet Skis. All went well and the place is nice. Unfortunately it took about 2 months and a lot of effort to get my 2000$ deposit back. They never contested nothing about the 2 jet skis being intact but they are just really difficult to reach. I guess some people are not vigilant about the deposit and they just forget it....

Charlie warmly welcomed our group of 6 and helped us settle into the pontoon boat, patiently explaining the controls and safety features. The life jackets were dirty so Charlie went and brought back fresh jackets for our use.
The boat was easy to operate and in spite of initial apprehensions, the entire party relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We had a wonderful time and would happily repeat the experience.

Went for an afternoon on the boat with a friend! Upon our arrival families were enjoying picnics on the beach, kayaks , Jetskis etc. The staff were very welcoming and offered to help carry things to the boat. A special shout out to Skylar and Alex for all their help!!! What a great day to enjoy a lot of family fun! Highly recommend!!!

We rented a pontoon boat from Westlake Water Sports for our daughters 10th Birthday! She wanted a beach birthday and we wanted to avoid the massive crowds at Sandbanks, so we headed for the dunes! The boat was fantastic and it allowed us to have a fun filled day!
We will definitely be renting again from them! Thank you for sharing your boat with us!

We had planned a birthday party there, but had to change our plans at the last minute after a site visit on the eve. There is no beach area, and the water close to shore is very dirty with petro from the motors. There is only one outhouse for everyone. Don't waste your time.

This is by the far the worst business ever! Folks, be warned that this place is horrible. It is run by a bunch of teenagers who have no idea what they are doing. We had a paid and confirmed booking for a pontoon boat and had our entire family come from out of town for a day-long rental. When we showed up, the incompetent people running the place said that that our boat had already been rented out, despite proving that we had a paid receipt for our rental. Their response: Too Bad. They make absolutely no effort to say sorry for their mistake, or provide any type of alternative. They were not even willing to provide a refund. They just steal your money, and give you nothing. Absolutely terrible business! STAY AWAY FROM THESE CRIMINALS.
