Got great photos of orcas, plus a bear and eagle. Damon, Adam and Bender were wonderful guides--knowledgeable, friendly and always working to provide us good meals, hot tubs, saunas, and best of all, kayaking with orcas. Couldn't have had a better experience.
I joined the July 31 Discovery Island 6-day Kayaking trip and it was beyond AMAZING! the locations/islands we camped and stopped by were breathtaking and we were able to see wildlife from a very close distance (whales, seals, Eagles, Dolphins, tons of jelly fish). The...More

Hi Diane R!
So sorry for the delay in response! Wildcoast’s Orca Camp basecamp is water access only. Wildcoast includes beautiful boat transportation from our meet point in either Campbell River (which has a regional airport - YBL) or Quadra Island, a short ferry across from Campbell River.
From Manitoba, you can fly in to Vancouver, then connect with a local carrier to Campbell River.
More transportation options, along with links, are available in our website under Trip Planner > Getting Here
Feel free to contact me directly by phone as well
I hope that helps!
