Expect the most from the coast ! Dedicated to making exceptional wines from our estate vineyards, as well as another vineyard on Pender Island. Our winery is now closed for the season and we look forward to seeing you 2022. You can purchase our wines online at our store. We're very proud of this stellar lineup for 2022: - 2021 Stella Maris, 2021 Ortega, 2021, Salish Sea 2021, Corliolis 2021, Intertidal 2021.

Great winery

Ordered a case of wine but then realized that the winery was closed. They contacted me and instead of shipping it fir $30.00, they made sure I could pick it up while they were closed. Excellent service and even better wine!!

Never had time for a tasting but we made the trip up to visit the winery and purchase some wine during our vacation. Surprisingly underwhelming- there’s one small spot through the trees with a view of the ocean and some picnic tables. No food for purchase. No wine on display - it was just being sold from a table.

We are sorry you did not have the experience you were looking for. This past summer was a unique summer coming out of COVID. We had a record number of visitors in July and as a result we were sold out of most of our wines when you arrived. We did have a food trolley at the winery but they may have left a little early that day. We tried very hard to adjust to our operations last summer to ensure the health and safety of our customers and staff. We hope you are able to visit again and are sure you will be pleased.

Not much of a winery

We have so many in BC. This winery is passable. Found it over priced. We bought one bottle because we were there. Not worth the stop.

Family raved about this lovely vineyard and tasting room. Exceptional wines, so try their rose: Blanc de Noir. Ravishing. A not to be missed delight on Pender.

More people need to know about Sea Star Vineyards on Pender Island. . . . But then again . . . This is a must visit place for our family every time we come to Pender Island. For a small vineyard, they are producing some amazing products. Better hurry, cause they often run out . . .

Wine, sunshine, and gourmet food, doesn’t get any better!

Sea Star Vineyards is definitely a destination on a sunny long weekend. The tasting bar was crowded with locals and tourists, and the outdoor garden space filled with people enjoying their wine purchases and food coming out of the most wonderful food truck.
We left with a case of wine, full tummies, and very satisfied palates.
A wonderful must do stop for wine and food fans when you are visiting the island!

The rose is one of the best we have had and they are known for it.

Great setting, knowledgeable staff

We visited sea star estate farm with a large group and they accommodated us wonderfully in their garden. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic staff. It was an unusually warm long weekend in May - possibly their opening? They weren't quite prepared for the floods of guests visiting the winery, but pulled it off. The food truck available was more than fantastic - providing excellent hors d'oerves, a perfect pairing with Sea Star wines. She was also run off her feet, but great business to kick off the year! Will definitely go back. We have been trying to find their wines locally since!

Outstanding white wines, service and wine shop

Stopped by Sea Star Winery on Pender Island during a visit with friends. What a gorgeous location, beautiful tasting room and patio. Sea Star specializes in grapes that do well in coastal climates such as Ortega, Pinot Gris and Siegerrebe. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We were able to taste five wines for only five dollars! As well, there was a fantastic food truck on site serving up delicious snacks and lunches. What a great way to spend an afternoon - sitting out on the patio, enjoying Sea Star's wines while sampling local cuisine. Make sure you stop here on your next visit to Pender Island!
