Nice place and Friendly People
Aug. 2019 • Couples
Went to this place when we celebrated our anniversary. Been seaching for a place within panay area where we can visit and spend some time to relax. And since he never been at Antique, we decided to go there anyway. The cold spring was indeed relaxing. Stayed there for a night. It has also alot of food stalls in the area but most of them are just until around 6 or 8 in the evening. Not recommending the massages they offer tho. You are just like wasting your money on it. Hahahah. At night, you have nothing to do but just to stay inside your room since it was already dark all over the place. Maybe it was nice if they installed some lights or have that evening sessions like band or music inorder for some staying guests to enjoy. The people there were VERY FRIENDLY! They even helped us find someone to take us to the terminal.

My Boracay Guides prvt tour
Jun. 2019 • Friends
Did a private tour to the cold springs. Hotel organised it through My Boracay Guides. Me, my mate and 2 guides. Worked out to be about $100odd AU each from memory. But was 7hrs of fun.
Worth going to, about 1.5hr from Boracay on the Caticlan island.
Lots of locals, food and beer and cool cool clean clear water. We spent a good 5hrs there. Well worth it

Very refreshing

A must do if you're in the area! Very beautiful. We were staying at the pandan beach resort so it was easy to get to. We rode a motorcycle taxi there. We stopped by the ATV trails and rode them as well!

Highly Enjoyable Day Tour with Family
Jan. 2019 • Family
We went on a family day trip as a side activity during our Boracay Stay. It's a short drive from Caticlan port through some scenic ocean drive and rustic settings. Initial impression was a crowded place with a huge natural spring for swimming and diving. At the time, the place was practically jampacked with 90% Korean tourists and balance of everyone else. There were huts and picnic areas around the huge swimming area available for rent.
The surprising and refreshing part was the guided "tube" experience which really allowed you to enjoy the beauty of the place and the invigorating cool waters. You can reach the starting point after a short 10-15 minute hike, although I would not recommend this to people with mobility challenges because of the sometimes slippery and uneven terrain.
The community are doing an excellent job in maintaining the overall natural beauty of the place.

Highly recommend joining a small group tour. In our case, booked through

Fantastic Day with Family & Friends
Sep. 2018 • Family
We took a van load of family and friends to the Malumpati Cold Springs for a day of fun in the cold waters. We were here once a couple years ago and the dam has sine been broken down so the main pool was much lower. There was still enough water for the diving area. A group of us did go on the float trip and the water was moving fast and they have installed better fast current areas with small drop offs. Everyone enjoyed the trip, we could not keep our two year old Grate Grandson out of the water. He so much wanted to go off the low diving board his mom had to lower him over so he was jus above the water than drop him to dad in the water. He loved it all day long. We bought food and cooked on the provided BBQ areas. They have new hut style table areas. They also have RTV rentals and off road trails, will have to try this on next visit. We will be tacking another group up next week.

Hidden Gem Fun for Whole Family
Sep. 2018 • Family
My wife and her extended family came for a day trip. There is swimming, hiking, and tubing trips. The water is clear and the area is pristine and feels very exclusive. The entry fees and activities are all very reasonable.

Bring your own food for the cabanas, or stop at one of the restaurants. This has been our favorite activity of the trip.

Our guests ranged from 6 years to 65 years old and everyone enjoyed their time.

El Cielo
Apr. 2018 • Family
After getting dropped off at the entrance of the malumpati resort area, we were a bit taken aback to see that the place was teeming with people and had,as accommodation places/hotels/inns, cemented buildings on the sides of the walkway towards the main cold spring pool. We were expecting to go somewhere away from the maddening crowd and yet here it was before us. Thankfully, a walkable distance and a hanging bridge crossing away from the main cold spring pool was the el Cielo riverfront villas area. It was a welcome sight to travelers like us who were expecting a back to nature, no wifi, eco-tourism experience (that's what we expected of Malumpati cold springs based on google reviews highlighting the river tubing ride through "the cleanest river in the Phil"). El Cielo riverfront villas was a great place for us to go to for family bonding. We booked the two villas for 16 people and the price for two nights was very reasonable (they could have charged more actually and we would still have gotten good value for money). The set up of the villas was just right for our group of four families plus two helpers. The place was very clean (towels and beddings were very clean and well washed). The villas are well designed, tasteful and functional. Care has obviously been put in the choice of materials. Jean, the one in charge of the place, was very gracious and helpful and kind. Always ready to help and very solicitous.
One thing that could have been better tho, was the privacy. We were expecting that we would have the place all to ourselves since we had booked all the villas they have (they just have two) but it turned out that there were 5 bahay kubos for rent beside the villas and so people were just passing through the open areas in the lowermost level of the villas that we had rented. And people were just coming in and out of the place having their photos taken in front of the villas, like nothing, when in fact paying guests (us) were in residence and therefore should have the benefit of privacy and security. (Jane did her best to try to gently tell the "walk-ins" that the area was for guests only but she could only do so much without being rude to those insisting to go in just to have photos taken)
We would gladly have paid more to be able to have the privacy we were hoping for, because it really is such a pretty place with a nice "get away from it all" vibe. I think they would do well to establish what market they are catering to and price accordingly.
Malumpati cold spring is a five hour ride from Iloilo and it is one of those places that one should visit before it gets too commercialized. Was it worth the trip? Yes definitely! mainly because of the following: 1) the river tubing experience (the guides were so friendly and helpful and cheerful and the river ride was fun!)
2) the chance to swim in an area of the river that was really pristine and not crowded (while waiting for our river tubing guides to finish lunch, we were able to take a dip in the river beside a coconut grove area) --- this was so worth the hike to get there!
3) the experience of drinking coconut water from coconuts brought down from the very trees in that same grove ( broken on nearby rocks and with the coconut water being poured down your throat before you start eating the sweet soft meat inside)
4) having el Cielo riverfront villas to come home to afterwards

Nice but Nabas is more nicer!!!
Mar. 2018 • Family
I have been here for many times. The area is really love before but now not so relaxing anymore. Crowded and noisy but this is normal on developing attractions. I roaming around during my Boracay vacation. I visited also Nabas spring which Introduce to me by the Orient beach Boracay hotel staff. Basang cold spring, this place is clean and wide. Hurom-hurom, still be okay for me. Nabas spring is nice and really tropical but I think their municipal only lack of Market.

Perfect cold spring
Jan. 2018 • Friends
So we went to Malumpati cold spring couple days ago . Below are my positive insights about the resort

- entrance fee is affordable , 50 pesos for tourist while 20 for locals . Not bad right !
- the water is not too cold, I dont know with you but for me its just cold enough that you can still swim in it.
- the water and the are is clean
- prices or cost of goods their stores sell are reasonable , hindi sya "taga" sa presyo. e.g san mig light is just 35 pesos. Surprisingly they sell wines too .
- Tubing experience is a must try . Its just 200 pesos and its more than worth it. We did it twice coz it is really a fun experience.
- they also have this about 10 feet high ramp where you can jump from into the stream ..its a great experience.

Some Cons:
- bathroom or shower room needs improvement
- they have these cute cabanas which you can rent for 500php however the floor is slippery due to the materials they used. Its kinda dangerous if you wont be careful enough

It was really a great experience visiting Malumpati . The crew and their people are so accomodating, polite and courteous . We had so much fun . The brought out the kid in us . 😁😁😁
